Dr. Francis G. D’Ambrosio received his Doctorate at the Albany Medical College of Union University and has practiced medicine for 30 years. From 1986 and 2014, Dr. D’Ambrosio worked as an orthopedic surgeon. While that career was exciting and paid well, he found his patients were still in immense pain. A long-time supporter of medical cannabis, when the U.S. Attorney General announced the loosening of banking restrictions in the cannabis industry, D’Ambrosio decided this was the sign he needed to start advocating and seeing patients for evaluations. He founded 420recs in 2014 and has devoted his life to helping patients using medical cannabis.
D’Ambrosio strongly promotes the use medical cannabis as an easy and highly superior alternative big pharmaceutical medications, including opiates in particular. Opiate addiction can occur as quickly as five days after initial consumption, yet physicians still widely prescribe them for pain treatment. D’Ambrosio asserts that cannabis is a much safer and far less addictive alternative, ranging a huge spectrum of health applications. When he is not giving his recommendations over the phone or video chat, D’Ambrosio hosts his podcast “Elevate the Conversation”, where every week guests from authors to athletes, politicians, and personalities join him to discuss Medical Marijuana policy reform.

So I filled out my info, put in my PRECISE mailing address, and when I was done i waited for 3 mins and was interviewed over video chat by the doctor. the interview took about 8-10 mins and the doctor was kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. after the interview, I immediately got a temporary pdf file copy of my Recommendation, which i was able to use right away at my local delivery service, and on the 3rd day it arrived in the mail in a nice discreet mailing envelope. It's 100% Legitimate and is accepted everywhere in Santa Barbara i've checked at so far. Do not miss out on this awesome opportunity to obtain an extremely, and compassionately affordable medicinal cannabis recommendation. you WILL NOT be disappointed.
I had a hard time believing I could get my rec online for $40, when the year prior I'd paid a doc in SD almost $200. So I decided to give it a shot one day while all I had was my mediocre smart phone, and it actually worked great. I finished the entire process from my phone's Web browser and have had no issues. Just BE CAREFUL when entering your mailing address; if you get it wrong you'll end up looking like one of these angry 1 star reviewers without a proper rec. Maybe don't smoke right before you fill out the form? Just pay attention for like 2 minutes and you'll be fine. There's no excuse to not have your own rec when it's this easy. I've sent at least a dozen patients here and even walked a few people through it, and everyone has been happy. Can't imagine it being much simpler/easier, they've got the process very dialed in.
Was fast, easy and great was on the call for like 5 minutes and got the email within 2. Great!!
I had never had applied for a medical card and it was somewhat of a daunting task. I couldn't have been more wrong about the process. I filled out the short questionnaire, and within 2 minutes was on a video conference with the Dr discussing my ailment. Dr D'Ambrosio was very courteous and knowledgeable. Immediately received an email with a recommendation and was able to place a delivery order that same afternoon.. I see a lot of people leaving reviews about not ever receiving their stamped copy of the recommendation. This wasn't my experience, I had a signed and stamped recommendation in my hand within 2 business days. A friend of mine also received their recommendation within several days. I also started subscribing to the Dr's discussion channel about Medical Cannabis and there is some really good information there! 5 Star Service all the way around!

Got my PDF copy of my rec never a hard copy. I emailed support asking them for another and they said to confirm my address and I did and still never had heard back from. Terrible and unreliable. Go in person its way easier. This place is some BS.
I'm sorry for the problems you experienced upon enrolling with us. Your address had been input incorrectly when you signed up and this led to the delay in receiving your mailed recommendation letter. As you can see from the many positive reviews included on this Weedmaps page, our service is not "BS": we have many, many happy patients using our recommendations every day throughout California.
I never got my recommendation. I only have the printed version. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time for the official rec to be mailed to me, I sent these guys an email about the issue and they said that a new recommendation was mailed to me as a courtesy, and that I would be charged $10 if that one didn't arrive. Well of course that rec never arrived either and I'm sure as hell not going to pay for another even if it's only $10, I'm not giving my card info again. So now I am pretty much limited to only delivery services that don't require the official rec with the doctor's seal.
Just get your rec in person if you can. May cost more but you'll go through a lot less trouble.
We use the address which the patient types into the intake form when they sign up. If that address is incorrect, that is where the mailed recommendation goes anyway. I'm sorry you had the experience you had.

Took less than 10 minutes and I did the whole thing on my smartphone, plus the price is the best I've heard of anywhere around here. can't believe I didn't do this sooner.
