I purchased platinum lemon cherry tasted literally like dirt and was incredibly NASTY! Not to mention the fact, that i didn't feel anything. The harvest date is recent (02/26/2026), so it isn't old inventory—it is just a terrible cure or a bad flush by Seed & Strain. Total waste of money for a Gelato strain that is supposed to taste sweet. Usually I purchased my marijuana strains from remedymaryland.com. I recommend that always stick with what you know. Because this was the worst experience.

After coming back to Zen Leaf a few times and having gone to almost every dispensary in the state of Maryland. I can say firmly and confidently that this is the best dispo in Maryland. As soon as you drive up to the facility which is in a very discreet location with ample security; you’re hit with the aroma of the plants that they have growing in the back! Yes Zen Leaf is also a grow op! Staff will remember your name and face everytime you come! Very knowledgeable staff and very clean facility. Prices are a little high but the quality is definitely there at Zen. Between this place and Remedy they’re the best dispo’s in the state of Maryland right now.

Still the best!

I've been coming to Zen since they opened, and it just gets better! The staff knows me by name, my preferences, and what has worked well for my conditions. They are professional, caring, and we still have fun. The menu has everything you could possibly want. Off the beaten path and in the same building as Verano! How awesome is that?? I tried their delivery and that was awesome too! Thank you Peyton and Matt for keeping me from having to drive up from Annapolis. No need to go anywhere else-- Zen has it ALL!

One of the nicer ones

This is one of the nicer dispensaries I’ve visited. Very chill atmosphere, chill music, friendly staff. The electronic menu when you go to the product room is a nice touch. Not quite as fast as some but they also just opened and someone from the commission was also on site. If you are looking for discreet, probably no better location, way in the back of a business/industrial park. Would definitely visit again.

Been all over MD...

I’ve been all over MD - as I’m sure many of you have - checking out dispensaries and so forth, and this absolute gem was right under my nose. I’m a fairly fastidious and discerning consumer, and I could find little situational things wrong with every dispensary as you’ve seen highlighted in various reviews here. The bottom line is that I keep coming back here for a reason... The great, true professionals (across the board) working here. They share this knowledge in a friendly, concise and direct manner - which is important to me, and they set me up beautifully. Good menu, which changes, and a great array of loose concentrate. Clean, comfortable environment - like an Apple store w/o crowds. It took a little time for me to get going because I can be stubborn and I get a little giddy sometimes getting the product, but they will set you up perfectly too if you take the time to listen and learn (no matter how long you’ve smoked - nobody cares). Enjoy & be a nice person to deal with.

Ive been coming to Zen for nearly a year I think, and my most recent visit compelled me to leave a review. First I want to say Zen has been a five star shop before this and I would give them 6 stars if i could. All I need to say is they have the nicest staff. Knowledgeable and helpful, and willing to let me talk their ears off. Their head tender Josh is one the best I’ve met, and each time he’s helped me I’ve learned something new about cannabis. If you haven’t checked them out yet you’re missing out.

I was in the waiting room and it was the first time I had to experience the metric system being down, so I waited until the system came up about an hour and we all just talked with the Clinical director and 1 of the best guys I know of as a Tender and A world of guidance in this industry as a patient using medical Cannabis and being a newbie to it now and him and the rest waiting just talked and when I was in there purchasing my meds Payton said John you need to try some of the sun -med Jesus OG 1gram pre-roll the strain is good for you at night time and damm if they weren't right again and now I am looking at the menu and I see that they are all gone I see why and I hope that they get some more 1 day. This is why I Love Zenleaf and I hope your Labor Day weekend is going well and you guys are off on Monday anyway so enjoy the day off with some of the Sunny D by Verano another great strain and I have to give it to your lead grower. He sure does grow great medical cannabis!

7/8/18 Strawberry-banana by Verano seasonal strain

I used the Strawberry-banana by Verano and its their seasonal strain. I am going to say that it's very smooth with the taste of a strawberry and you can taste the banana a little bit after you exhale completely. The Scentsy smell of strawberry you could smell through my medication room and the benefits from the strain was uplifting, focused, smiling, laughing, and hungry before my usual time of the late morning. It was a great recommendation by my tender that day at Zenleaf Jessup .Thx for the recommendation and of course the customer service I always get was great as usual.

Just Wow!

What a fantastic dispensary, very high quality. Prices are sliightly higher than average but product quality is top tier. They actually ARE Verano, and imo Verano is the best in Maryland. That commitment to quality is obvious from the moment you enter to the moment you leave. It starts with amazing customer/patient service, but it’s also the little things. Nice freebies while you wait, a great big menu with detailed strain info (though I did find a few purchased percentages deviated from the menu), and a beautiful display area, are just a few standout features. They were incredibly helpful and adapted well with a metric issue. They were able to give me the type of personal attention I needed while also recovering from the metric issue, even taking accountability for the delays that clearly weren’t their fault. The end result left me incredibly happy, with not only the best product in MD, but top tier treatment and a 5 Star experience all around. Thanks!!!

Verano Corleone Kush, G-leaf cookies-cream 5/31/18

The Corleone Kush is very good and like usual you can see the difference in the quality of the medical cannabis in the Verano strain. It is a definite must get again strain for me. I have been trying different growers and I still have not gotten anything from Verano that I have not been satisfied with. The G-leaf cookies n cream I have not had a chance to try it but I will medicate with that strain this morning and I will let you know what it is like. I walked into the dispensary with only 16 dollars but left with over a 125.00 dollars worth of medical cannabis supplies. Thanks for the rewards program they have in place. I want to this dispensary 1 time and the service was so good I have no reason to go to any other dispensary. Great staff that are knowledge in the industry and truly listen and care. Thanks for all you have shown me in this industry Zenleaf Jessup and I am almost off of the man made chemicals that has to be filtered through my liver.

Needed Special Care

I’m allergic to lemonene which is in most of all of the brands and deliver systems of medicinal cannabis. After purchasing several kinds and finding this out on my own I was faced with may be not being to partake in this new medicinal option vs dreadful prescribed medications with all the side effects. But I emailed a few of the dispensary’s I visited ZenLeaf was the only one that answered. Krissy recommended I try curaleaf THC oil free of terpenoids. It’s kick in the pants so you don’t need much but no side effects. Great product and over the top service

Verano is the best!

I’ve been to zen leaf a few times, but always try to come by when they have their Verano brand flower. If they have it stocked consistently I won’t go anywhere else. Each staff member I have dealt with has been friendly and helpful in finding the right product for my needs. No doubt some of the best service of the dispensaries I have been to. Also the privacy of the location is an added bonus for those who like to keep it discreet when buying their medicine.

Love this Dispensary

Zen Leaf is a quality dispensary. The only thing that was holding them back before was a lack of flower selection.....not anymore! They have it all on top of an uplifting atmosphere and great service. Marcus and Jamie are great and very helpful, and Peyton greeting people at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. Check them out! I will be back.

Great Experience

While the program here is brand new, some dispensaries have come out of the gate better than others. Zen Leaf is one of the good ones and I completely enjoyed my experience there. Professional, calm, organized, and knowledgeable. They are part of Freestate Wellness, a cultivator, and they are still finalizing their processor license, as I understand it. I bought some of their in-house Verona brand flower and its very nice. The product availability is still tight in MD, but again, the program is new and we will shortly see more product variety, better product quality, and lower prices as more competition comes online. I highly recommend this dispensary.

Visited for the first time today really liked their setup and atmosphere. Very secure. The staff was nice and helpful. I didn’t catch his name but the guy I spoke to once I got in the back was very knowledgeable about all the products they had available. Verano owns this dispensary so quality is top notch. Prices are high but so is everywhere rn hopefully they’ll drop as time goes on. Even got a chance to speak to one of the owners she was awesome and We spoke about me being a veteran and more things they are looking to do to help us in the future. All in all great experience.
