A delightful experience
There's a lot to like about the new Winewood Organics in Ann Arbor. On arrival, the storefront is very aesthetically pleasing, you get the feeling of a more intimate than corporate environment. The budtender was very helpful with information about the products and enthusiastic. I settled on the Big House OG Sauce and Banana Live Resin. Both products are top notch in terms of effects of medication. On a quartz banger, both vaporized clean without any hint of residue leftover. The taste of the terpenes in the sauce are outrageous. Overall, it felt like I was getting a multi-sensory fine dining experience as opposed to just a cheap, quick meal of empty calories. Bottom line, most important thing to note, I'll be back again for more. Thanks Winewood, keep up the good work! 💗

The only craft cannabis in michigan
All their product is created by hand on their own knowledge and it’s quality small batches which just don’t exist in the manufacturing oriented market and to top it off the the small batch product they make is far better in every way to the larger guys. You want quality real cannabis that’s grown and extracted responsibly I would not recommend another place nor do I know if it exists in Michigan at the moment!!! Thank you for bringing exception product to the cannabis market in Michigan.

Top notch experience across the board! Kim(the excellent budtender) and myself both share the love of Terpenes and flavinoids. Eric(the owner and lead grower) was great to communicate with before heading over thatta way. The flowers themselves were perfectly cured(very rare) and i love the presentation(1/2 ounces) in mason jars! I cannot wait to return & try their sauces & rosins. Much love to a vertically integrated micro business keepin' it real!

Best bud I’ve gotten from a dispensary in a loooooong time. Grower owned, so you know they care! I got a 1/2 of peyote cookies- nice, dense buds, prepackaged yes but in a very nice mason jar and not four individual 8ths. The nugs were all nice, big and frosty. Also got a 5 flower flight for $55- great way to try a bunch of their strains. Each gram has nice nugs, sometimes one bigger bud or two smaller buds, no shake. My brother got a pack of pre-rolls, smoked one and it actually burned nice, and tasted good. I doubt it was trim like most prerolls. Overall- seems to be hand trimmed, slow cured and hand weighed and packed. Not the biggest selection of products, just nice flower and concentrates. 100% will be going back.

Thank you so much for this review. Glad to hear you and your brother are satisfied with all the product. Pre-Rolls are from flower only. We use the same batch as for the packaged flower. So you can be sure the quality is as nice as if you'd roll it up yourself. Our crew sometimes even goes so far as to break up the buds to take out the smallest stems before grinding and rolling. I constantly take some home myself when I get too lazy to roll ✌️

Favorite Shop in Ann Arbor
Best flower on the market in Ann Arbor. We've tried flower from all of the top shops and brands, and haven't found anything that compares. You can tell they're passionate about growing the best organic flower possible. Tasty terpenes and beautiful quality. I've tried 6 or 7 different strains now and they all have unique flavor profiles and effects. High quality medicine. I've been a medical patient in multiple states and I can confidently say these are some of the best buds I've had the pleasure of experiencing.

Best Flower in Michigan
I went to Winewood back in April and had a great in store experience talking with one of the budtenders (forget his name but he was the gentlemen who is in the photo on the winewood website where it asks if you're 21). He was patient and answered all of our questions and provided some great recommendations. I'm new-ish to flower but Winewood's product has been amongst my favorite I've had anywhere. The highs were so different from what I get from other flower I feel like I finally know what 'good weed' is like. I was a little worried when I saw the flower I got was a bit older but after trying it that only got me more excited. It slapped so I can only imagine what fresher Winewood will be like. I'm a total noob when it comes to concentrates but loved the OPP live resin I tried. TLDR: Winewood is great and I'll be going there exclusively except for when I want some MAC 1. Unless Eric decides to start growing his own ;) EDIT: MAC 1 is growing in their garden as I write this 😎
Thanks for this awesome review! We keep all our bulk flower frozen to preserve the maximum amount of terpenes. That way we can offer flower with older harvest dates but keep it nice and tasty. We definitely would grow MAC1 if we got our hands on a good pheno. Hope to see you back soon! ✌️

As a huge snob I have been disappointed every time I have ordered flower from a dispo. Growing my own organic herb years ago made me see how much great quality can come from small scale organic practice and lots of care and attention. This comes through loud and clear in all the products I have tried from Winewood. I love that they offer a number of great sativa leaning options which i feel is uncommon; I am in love with their Durban Poison! The Black Rose, Apple Fritter and Lemon Rocks also really did it for me. Super clean and tasty flower, cured and mature buds too. The lemon slushie and tropic truffle sauces have become my go to daytime dabs and I'm loving it. Truly great quality, ethical business practice, excellent selection and prices that compete with the greedy big canna-business guys. I'm so happy to have found my spot.

My absolute favorite shop!
When I first heard about Winewood, it piqued my interest for being the first cannabis microbusiness (the farm-to-table of pot) in my area. Then I saw they had a discount for first-time customers. I thought, "here's my chance to try some real premium weed, try something normally 'too rich for my blood.'" Well, I tried it and was blown away. I picked up a variety of things to try, both flower and concentrates and it was all amazing, but especially the Orangeade sauce (which smells super citrus-y) and Peyote Cookies flower. The difference in quality between this stuff and the dispo flower I'm used to was immediately tangible - the smell, the taste, the moisture content, the effects - no contest. This is weed that hasn't been sitting on a shelf for months. It was grown with care. I've now been back twice more and consider it my go-to spot now (and Black Cherry Garlic is fire). Winewood is fantastic and, in an industry increasingly dominated by big business, I want them to succeed so bad!

There is a difference. Quality
Attractive clean store with a modern natural wood and glass counter decor. Friendly, knowledgeable budtender. All products are grown, cured and prepared in house. The flower is a cut above what you typically find around town. It's extremely potent even with an approximate 15% THC rating for the strain I tried. This goes to show that you can't judge quality by the numbers alone. Terpenes and proper curing contribute to a smooth clean taste and potency - think small batch microbrewery vs. Miller Lite. I'll be back.

The freshest weed I’ve ever gotten from a dispensary. Purchased flower and a pre roll, both had harvest dates of 8/24/21 - 5 days fresh!!! The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable due to the fact that the GROWERS own the store! All product is made in house, so you’re getting local organic Ann Arbor grown cannabis. They even have their harvest schedule online so you know what strains are on deck! Support locally grown cannabis and try this place out.
YEAH! Our first review! This makes it official. We appreciate you so much for coming by and spreading the word. We would like to add that while the flower was very fresh, for some reason the label stated the test date as harvest date. Actual harvest date was about 2-3 weeks earlier as we dried and cured our flower before selling it.

Winewood Organics is an authentic small batch seed to sale operation in Ann Arbor that caters to the cannabis consumer who is looking for a high end organic product, be it flower, concentrate, hash or cartridge. The service you receive is exemplary and the flower that I purchased, Han Solo Burger and Black Cherry Garlic, was exquisite in all respects. In the age of $50 ounces it is nice sometimes to visit a cottage industry like Winewood where you may pay a premium but when you consume you know it was worth the cash.
