Really happy and satisfied with my experience at The Chronic (Alhambra). I would like to take the time to shoutout Martha, one of the sweetest most welcoming budtender/employee I’ve ever come across. I had went on Thursday to make a purchase, but the item was not available…Martha made sure to go above and beyond and ensure that I get notified when the order arrived. Martha delivered! She called cell & left me a voicemail to let me know that the order had arrived & made sure that it would all be smooth sailing when I returned to the shop. She took care of me and it made me really appreciate her customer service 🙏🏼 I worked retail before, and it’s just nice to see someone who enjoys what they do :) I had to return to the store today (again), sure enough, it was Martha who helped me out. Thank you so much for being a joy 🫶🏼

After Trying A lot Of Other Places. The Chronic Has Been My GO TO Lately. I Like The Way They'll Call To Notify If an Item is Out Of Stock. And Give You All Other Available Options. Out Of More Than 10 Visits, It's Only Happened Once. Great Selection of Edibles And Tinctures\Tablets and their "inexpensive" OZ's Are Pretty Tastee ;)

Placed a pickup order on weedmaps, order was never pulled which was cool i didnt mind waiting but one of the products I ordered hadn’t been in stock for a while but i was never informed about it. Kinda wished the inventory was more accurate.

Got their goody bag supposedly worth $200 for spending $100 dollars and it came with a bunch of nothing. Had 2 edibles and an outdoor 1/8th idk how that’s worth more than 20. Then the bud tender goes in and takes the bloom pen out and replaced it with another small edible. Terrible service just lying to get people in.

Ordered 2 Turn products on BOGO special and was charged full price. Had to drive back to get it sorted out. Dude who bungled the order said nothing about the mistake. No apology or anything to make up for it. This place is going downhill.

The Chronic Weed Shop advertises that they accept debit cards, but in reality they’re running a cashless ATM system that hits customers with extra bank fees. That’s not debit, and it’s misleading. When I asked, they brushed it off, said there was a sign blah blah which was another red flag since I specifically avoid unnecessary charges and I’m an observant person with Autism and didn’t see a sign and wasn’t verbally informed. I understand the cannabis industry has to make workarounds because of federal and state banking rules, but be transparent about it. Customers deserve to know when they’re not actually using Stripe, Square, or another legitimate processor. Instead of being upfront, they acted like it wasn’t a big deal — but it is, because you just lost a customer. With so many other dispensaries in the area, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Weedmaps should advise them to disclose payment methods honestly so people know what to expect before swiping their card- a $3.00 fee so far.

This has become our local go-to spot. Super solid all around, with great deals and a good selection whenever we come in. Huge shoutout to Andre and Denise C! Andre was super kind and helpful, showed us different options, and gave solid recommendations. Denise C took her time with my partner and helped her look through options. Both of them made the visits feel chill, easy, and way more welcoming. We’ve had a different tender before who didn’t seem as friendly or eager to help, so Andre and Denise definitely stood out. Overall, still a great spot and one we’ll definitely keep coming back to.
