ONE HITTER BAT

A one-hitter (often called a "bat," "one-y," or "taster") is a small, portable pipe designed to hold a single, packed inhalation of dry herb, typically 0.02–0.1 grams, allowing for quick, discreet, and efficient smoking. They are frequently used with a "dugout"—a two-chamber container that holds both the pipe and pre-ground herb, for instance, on-the-go packing.
