“Live” refers to the point at which the Cannabis is extracted: while mostly still alive. We take the Cannabis plant and delicately break down the buds before flash freezing. Flash Frozen cannabis is placed in water just above freezing temperatures. Through agitation in the water, the trichomes fall off the frozen plant material. The slurry of hash and water is exited from the washing vessel and is poured through different micron sized collection bags. We select the optimal range of trichome head sizes to combine for pressing. The entire process is an effort to retain the plant’s fingerprint of terpenes and cannabinoids that we enjoy from consuming Cannabis. The final product is almost always the best representation of the plant’s characteristics.
