Seven Point was founded as medical cannabis dispensary in Illinois once medical cannabis legalized in IL. Seven Point applied for three medical dispensary licenses and was awarded a license in 2015 downtown Oak Park, IL. The store was designed more like a spa than a medical facility and was very successful. CEO Brad Zerman sold the dispensary in 2019 and started applying for numerous cannabis business licenses throughout Illinois and Michigan. The company was awarded an adult-use cannabis dispensary in Danville IL in 2023 and opened Seven Point (2.0), the first ever cannabis dispensary and vinyl record store anywhere right on the border of Indiana.
