These guys really care about giving their patients a positive experience. Yesterday their driver had trouble locating me, inevitably causing me to cancel my order. I get a call back the next day from a manager apologizing for what happened and offered to bring my order back for free. Thank you Purple Star for making it right!

While PSMD may not have the best bud in SF, they most definitely have the best deals. Delivery service is fast and available for first-timers. Freebies were nice. Ordered from Urban Pharm and didn't get the BOGO. Ordered from Purple Star and got the BOGO and then some without mentioning it. This place deserves your money, I'll be back many times :) My only complaint is the Pineapple Kush didn't have the pungent fruit aroma I'm used to. Still smokes good :)
I've visited a bunch of clubs and this one is dope!! Bought a house cartridge and got 1 free... was better quality than most ... not many options tho ( in house cartridges) but they have reasonable prices for all things cannabis!!! They even gave me a nice gift bag with a grinder,lighter,zigzags, and 1gram of Keif .... that's the most I've ever received free from being a new member lol always 5$ pre rolls or a chocolate lol I will be back !!!!

The black dude with glasses at the front door needs to check his attitude. He "went ahead and let you in even though you don't have your Weed card on you, but don't let me ever see you here again without one"
All of the other dispensaries that I go to will accept just a drivers license as identification once you have presented them with documentation that you have a physicians recommendation and they have you in their system and he obviously knew that I had a recommendation or he wouldn't of let me in, he was just blowing attitude like he thinks he's the doorman at the club.
There are two dispensaries equidistant from my house, purple star is one of them, guess which one I won't be going to anymore?
Recommendation to the management, get your front door employees attitude under control especially before recreational weed becomes the norm, because at that point customer service is really going to matter, and you've got some real idiots as the face of your store at this point.
I understand that sometimes people with no power in their personal life get a little drunk on small amounts of it when given it in their professional life, but it can really damage a stores credibility, and while my once every two week trips to buy quarters may not be enough for you to notice the bottom line, I guarantee I'm not the only one getting a shitty attitude or who won't come back to your store because of the crappy customer service.

It was my first time at purple star, I had read about how great this dispensary is and I liked what I saw on the menu, I was also intrigued by what I heard about how they treat first time customers and they had a good coupon deal where you donate a certain amount and get some throw ins. Anyway, all said and done I came away mildly disappointed.
I’ll just say at first everyone there was nice and they do have a great selection. That alone is enough for me to come back again. What I did find is that the prices (at least for n00bish me) were more expensive in store than online, not sure why that is but fine, they were still market prices. Also, I did not receive any type of throw in for being a first timer (even though I mentioned it was my first time and they saw me sign up) or for donating almost $200 which according to the coupon was good for at least a free 8th. In the end, I walked away with what I came in to purchase and nothing more, I was ok with that, just not thrilled like some of the reviews I read on here. I am not going to let this bother me too much and I’ll be back, the selection is great and the people there are nice and knowledgeable.
