upon arrival, my 3rd dispensary ever, there was not one hello.. so i said, hello... no response. i gave my id through the window and with an annoyed demeanour he picked it up and finally said, oh youre from my home state. like that was the secret of getting serviced with a smile or something. so i proceeded in, and asked for the menue item i came for, both on weed maps and leafly the menu had the same item. when i got to thw front of line the guy goes, yeah what do you want... what do i want? boy good thing i came for a specific item right? wrong, they didnt have it of course. lol, so I showed them both in their lobby and their menu listings on the apps, and the guy got irritated and said, well they are all just as good so just pick one... umm ? this was the worst experience i have had yet, but, then i go to keave and that same employee greets the next customer saying, ugh sorry bout that bro you know how these out of staters are.... wow. never again.
I always come here for more Wana brand gummies but I came here for a vape cartridge once and will never make the mistake again... I was disappointed that it was in a small squeeze bottle that I had to dispense into a cheap cartridge myself. Honestly, the concentrate tasted like one of my friends made it and kinda messed up the process.... it was dark and not tasty AT ALL! I was pretty disappointed with that purchase, it's what I get for waiting till the last minute to buy...
Staff & environment are always great!

I avoided this place for a while because I kept hearing how expensive they were, however after shopping around at other dispensaries I don't find Native Roots Edgewater to be that much more than anywhere else.
The staff is super friendly and I love how chill the atmosphere always is... plus it's super convenient that they're open till midnight every night. 👍🏻
I was hesitant to come here because of some of the bad reviews, but did because they carried something I wanted.. and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. There was hardly any wait, a good selection, good prices, and the person that helped me was so awesome I left in a better mood than I started. They even have cute bags! My experience was uplifting!

I've been to Native roots three times now strictly out of convenience as it is across the street from my house. Well, three strikes and you're OUT! This store sucks! imho. I'm by know means a conesuer of bud but I do purchase various edibles regularly. My daughter has chronic migraines and I have arthritis and fibromyalgia. We both know what works for us but still inquire to be 'educated' on all of our options. The bud tenders are all arrogant hipsters who talk down to us for being so ignorant to their trade. They talk too fast yet never say anything significant to our inquiries. Basically tell us here you'll like this. So far I have spent over $200 on crap that now sits on my counter. The last visit did me in. The douche in the corner with a bald head was over the top with his crass attitude. Really thought he was schooling me. Ha. Rather than get pisssed, I spent the next 30 minutes asking him questions and asking to see several different items. Had him running around like an idiot looking for it all. Told him I'd be back to buy all these items he suggested. I was a mere 3 steps away on my way out and he announced to all the other bud tenders, "boys and girls, that is how you sell. That is how it's done". I laughed out loud turned on my way through the door and said you moron, I'm leaving with exactly what I came in for. You didn't sell me a damn thing.
And that is the last time I ever spend a dime at Native roots.
They say the best advertisement is word of mouth- I've definitely got a big mouth and plan to voice my opinion on this 'department store' dispensary.

This is a You Don't Get What You Paid for Situation. Way to $high$ for the quality of bud you receive. You come here because it's open late and you forgot to hit the Dispense before they closed.
these budtrenders see service and quality as the three cornerstones of Mary Jane's temple of dizzy 😵 doomdigibongalong.
