Big Mac is a hybrid strain with a few different origins. The first lineage comes from the Canadian cultivator Federation Seed Company. This lineage is an indica-dominant hybrid that comes from a genetic cross between BC Big Bud and Mikado.

This cross's BC Big Bud strain originates from Sensi Seed Bank, while the Mikado comes from the Federation's own grow. The resulting Big Mac has a citrus and berry aroma mixed with pepper sprinkles and earthiness. This Big Mac strain has dark, round buds with dark orange hairs that are covered in thick trichomes.

A second strain lineage — Big MAC — comes from California's Capulator. This lineage is a cross between Big E OG and the cookie-forward MAC strain and is of an unknown variety.
