Product description
What a long, strange trip it's been for this godfather of cannabis. The story begins on “Shakedown Street” in the Deer Creek parking lot outside a Grateful Dead show in June 1991. There, Greg Krzanowski (aka Chemdog) bought a bag of fire flower from some Coloradans. After procuring two more ounces through the mail, one bag came without seeds, and the other with 13 tucked throughout. Greg would go on to germinate these bagseeds, and in 1991 popped the first four; one male was discarded and the three females made Chem ‘91, Chem’s less famous sister. For connoisseurs of chemical diesel flavor profiles, look no further than Chemdog. (There’s no wonder why classics like Sour and Garlic Cookies aka GMO take DNA from this robust tongue staining flavor profile that takes the word funky to a whole new level.) Much like its offspring, the aroma is not only pungent but equally musty. Chemdog presents a dense chunky bud with tightly clustered, bulbous, rounded seed pods that give off a bumpy textured look. The abundance of trichomes sport a silver sheen, but the underlying flower is a rich emerald green hue. In the modern day, Chemdog is utilized often in solventless genetics, due to the resin head size and ability of it to easily break away from the stalk. After consumption, one should expect an initial bout of euphoria and a slight cerebral glow that gives way to full physical relaxation.
