What a long, strange trip it's been for this godfather of cannabis. The story begins on “Shakedown Street” in the Deer Creek parking lot outside a Grateful Dead show in June 1991. There, Greg Krzanowski (aka Chemdog) bought a bag of fire flower from some Coloradans. After procuring two more ounces through the mail, one bag came without seeds, and the other with 13 tucked throughout. Greg would go on to germinate these bagseeds, and in 1991 popped the first four; one male was discarded and the three females made Chem ‘91, Chem’s less famous sister.
