I started going to this dispensary in April the owners are knowledgeable about all their products and they're nice funny guys who care about their customers. The product selection is good and the products they carry are excellent quality, I've never been disappointed in anything I bought. I've heard people call dispensaries green or candy stores I call it my happy place because if I'm having a good day it's about to get better and if I'm having a bad day well the same is true it's about to get better. Great Barrier Reefer is definitely my happy place.

First trip in, and they are offering me solutions to a migraine that I had instead of selling me on their product. That my friends is how you take care of patients. I may be a dispensary snob, but helping patients is the most important part of a dispo. They first put me on to Judys Migraine Stick. I was hesitant. I've tried salves as well as other forms with little to no relief. This stuff though? It actually works! And quickly! Especially if your at the tail end of a migraine and you're in that migraine/medication hangover phase. After that it was like hanging out with old friends. Cozy little dispensary with a genuine desire to help. Their prices caught me off guard. I mean that in the best way possible! Excellent pricing for the medication that I'm looking for with no feeling of sales pressure. Excellent! Very very satisfied with my visit and will be back for plenty of trips in the future! Thank you for the top notch experience!

Just came in and it was a great experience!

The bud tender was very nice I didn't remember his name but I love how your not rushed and he smokes all of the flower he sales in the store and won't sell anything that he won't smoke and then tells you how he experiences the flower in the description of each strain, he made me feel like family and actually cared to show me multiple strains without me even asking which was awesome because I'm pretty picky with my flower but everything he showed me was cured great and all tested high in terps. I was planning on only trying a gram to see how it was but I ended up get 2 because I knew I would regret it if i didn't haha, thanks again for the other free gram for first time and for being so nice I will for sure be back on multiple trips!!

The shop is small, the parking, minimal. Nothing really stands out, other than the great name “great barrier reefer”, that is until you step up to the counter, and begin your relationship with the staff. They’re extremely friendly, and informed on their products. The conversation flows seamlessly, and never feels pushy, or uncomfortable. That’s all great, and important, but let me tell you about the buds. Oh my frickin lord, it’s great! It’s everything I was looking for, which fulfills my personal need to have the highest quality, densest, and perfectly cured, hand trimmed buds, for the stickiest, and the ickiest, on the scene. I have, so far, had the purple passion, wedding cake, and the purple tangie, and I’ll be back to try all the rest from their growers, as each strain has the distinct characteristics you like to see from different genetics. They’re beautiful, they’re all coated in “sugar” crystals, the flavor profiles are unmatched, you will not be disappointed! G’day mate!
