5 Star
Out of all of the dispensaries on the WI/UP border, G & C seems to always have the best combination of variety and price point. I always have to make a stop when I'm in the area. Keep up the good work!

First visit, I'll be coming back.
I stopped in with some screenshots of what I wanted. The Budtender got them ordered for me and made some great recommendations for some items that were out of stock. Product quality and pricing is very good and the curbside service is outstanding. The budtender helping me went above and beyond being patient with me. Got a good joke out of the deal (Baygull) Lol!

Well we pulled up and Paige came out. And we kept adding things to our orders and she gave us the best recommendations! And she didn’t even care when we paid in $2 bills! Cause for some reason we had $144 in $2 but she is amazing. And we are actually ALLLLL wanting to go back to see her. She runs that bish!!

$240 oz.
I bought a super lemon haze oz for a little over $240 an oz ( which is pretty pricey considering local competition) and the display bud looked very nice, and trimmed and the product I received is the complete opposite. The quality of flower and, ext seems to be pretty good but the prices aren't matched very well in comparison with competition in the area. You cannot mix and match strains to equal a full oz either which was disappointing.

Great bud Terrible wait
Great prices compared to other closer dispensaries but be prepared to wait a bare minimum of 20 minutes for you get attended to. Unacceptable for service that takes under 3 minutes once attended to. Either let people come inside or hire more staff.

Keep driving to the others
Still closed on the inside, the others are not. Can’t see any products. You have to wait absolutely forever to get a product that you can’t see until you purchase it. The “penny” pre roll and eighths they give away for bonus points the store chooses for you and it’s always trash. If you complain they say, “well it’s a Penny.” The pre roll GMO I received was 2 YEARS OLD. Could have been mold in it. None of the flower is labeled sativa or indica. Unlike other places near by, they don’t give you a price break for buying in bulk. Majority of their cannabis is under 20% THC. We came through with a car load heading up to go fishing on our boat. We offered lunch to a couple of bud tenders as we were having a luncheon that day in Crystal. The bud tenders laughed and said they don’t get lunch on 10 hour shifts. Said they were lucky to get even a 15 minute break on busy days. Overall, place is expensive. Can’t see your product before ya buy it. Called to complain about our 2 year old pre roll and manager doesn’t even smoke weed. Tried to explain to him 2 year old pre rolls were disgusting but since he doesn’t smoke he wouldn’t know.

Straight crappy place
All together a horrible experience. Misleading descriptions on the website. I cannot and would never recommend this place to anyone just due to not being fully honest. I tour grow facilities and dispensaries all the time here in the UP. This on is by far the worst. Google review and full story coming to my post soon so everyone better understands this places issues. I'll definitely be reaching out to a couple specific brands. I also noticed 99% of your posts don't even get seen or even comments. Here's a tip from someone with a combined 4.6 million followers, honesty is key. If you aren't honest to your customers fully then you're not worth much at all.

Introduction

Glazed and Confused is your first stop in the U.P. Conviently located just across the Wisconsin/Michigan border right off of US 2.

About us

Glazed and Confused is a Mom and Pop run Marijuana Retailer. It was established in 2018 by Dan and Jackie Rosek. Their desire to share their knowledge of the benefits of marijuana and to help create a community to reduce the stigmas of marijuana became the challenge that they wanted to pursue.

After years of being a medical marijuana caregiver and seeing the relief, physically and mentally, that was given to many by using marijuana it was only natural to want to be able to provide that relief to as many as we could.

When Michigan voted to allow for recreational use of Marijuana, it was go time. A local supper club that had sat vacant for several years right on the border seemed like the perfect location. A large bar where we could sit and chat with customers about products and Strains. A large dining area that could be a showroom for all the products and a kitchen??? complete with deep fryers. Yes it was outdated. There was gross carpet in the bar, smoke on the walls, and paneling for days but to provide the relief so many were looking for it would be worth the blood, sweat, tears, and hardships to get to where we are today.

Maybe you heard about this place just over the border in Michigan that sold artwork and you were gifted marijuana, or Perhaps you have stopped at Glazed and Confused seeing our Sleepy Doughnut guy and thinking, Hmmm Donuts.

Our first year open was a trip. The laws were very new and although it was legal to consume marijuana getting it was a new challenge for many. After much discussion with various individuals and professionals, we determined we were willing to take the risk and open as a gift shop, selling wooden artwork that you received a free gift with. Feb 15, 2018 was our first day open and it snowed a good 8” but that didn’t stop the curiosity and once the word got out it spread like a wildfire.

We were growing and growing fast but we could sense there was change coming and on July 3rd, 2018 Michigan came out with the emergency rules on recreational marijuana. We had hoped Michigan would follow other states and allow those that were gift shops to transition to a licensed establishment, but upon reading the emergency rules it did not appear that way. We made the difficult decision to close the gift shop. We would not open the next day even though we had just had our best day ever and more customers than we had ever imagined.

Would we be able to do it? Would we be able to get through the licensing? Or would they hold our gift shop against us as it stated in their emergency rules? Would we have enough money to meet their licensing requirements? The stakes were getting higher now.

The licensing process was just that, a process that required a lot of paperwork, background checks, and general bureaucracy. To help improve our customer experience and keep us busy while waiting for approvals we remodeled what we could in the supper club, unveiling a unique history of the building, in which we learned that Dan’s great grandfather had built the bench and slat wall in the bar area for the supper club, that are still there today.

We received our first approval from the State of Michigan in our licensing in Feb 2019 only weeks later to have Covid begin. We had to ask ourselves, Do we continue with our licensing and open amidst a global pandemic putting ourselves, our family, our staff and their families and our customers at risk of infecting each other? Do we wait and hope we can sustain for a while until things calm down? Would we even be allowed to open? Is marijuana considered essential??

As Covid was still in the forefront of everyone's minds we created a plan to open for curbside service. We waited as long as we could afford, to submit the final application to receive our licenses. And in Jan 2020, with the help of business associates, the return of some gift shop employees and the hiring of new employees we were open for business again.

Our goal is to provide our customers with the knowledge they need to find the marijuana products to get the relief they are looking for. The marijuana industry is growing rapidly and new benefits of marijuana all are being discovered. We want to make sure that our customers understand how the various products can help them. We want to provide the best experience at our store and when you use your products on your own time. Knowledge is power and once you have the knowledge to make informed purchases, your purchasing experience only becomes easier, faster and more enjoyable.

We carry; Bulk Flower, Pre-Packaged Flower, Shake, Pre-Rolls, Infused Pre-Rolls, Pre-Roll Packs, Vapes, Gummies, Edibles, Concentrates, Baller Buckets, Topicals, Beverages and Tablets. Everything and more you could possibly need.
