The Bay Area Latino Cannabis Alliance "BALCA'' is proud to present our bilingual anthology of cannabis writings by so many different dynamic leaders of our community. Within the community, so many voices, stories, challenges, and victories exist. Many legacy and equity cannabis operators have written powerful testimonies on being criminalized for engaging in Cannabis. Pulling the lens back, governments worldwide have been outlawing sacred plant medicines for a long time, which shaped a central part of our experience.
