Happy, but...
I'm very happy to have a dispensary in Rochester, NY, however Columbia Care is like the chain of Dispensaries as opposed to a boutique. I received .4ml of oil for roughly $90. This was the highest price I've seen Their vape pen also is timed so you can only get a very small pull. The overall product was mediocre at best. I suggest driving to Buffalo or Syracuse to find a better quality product for a much lower price. The staff was very friendly, and courteous, but i am hoping for more dispensaries to come to Rochester, NY.

Way way way overpriced , little selection ...
In Colorado you can buy a 1ml. 90%+ pure vape cartridge for $70 recreational prices ( if you don't know there are separate prices for medical and recreational cannabis in states where it's legal for any adult over 21 ... there are also different tax rates for each . ) Here its $100 for .4ml of just decent oil , plus they force you to buy their specific pen to use .
There are only 9 total products 3 oils , 3 pills , 3 tinctures .... that's it . In Rochester you can buy cartridges for $50 on the street and graMs of concentrate for around that price too . Including the costs to get the card , save your hard earned money and buy off the street . There are plenty of safe reliable sources , ask a friend . If you absolutely have to have it , and you can't locate anywhere else , then it's fine but be prepared to be overcharged .... no strain specific anything also .

Very nice staff and decent products!
The staff at Columbia Care are very friendly and knowledgeable. They were very helpful explaining what medication was available and when to take it. I just wish the prices were lower since they are not covered by insurance. Overall I would highly recommend going to Columbia Care! Just please lower the prices and offer a different selection of products please!!
Worth the drive to somewhere else.
It’s really unfortunate I wouldn’t recommend going here because the staff is so friendly and helpful. As someone else mentioned the security is like Fort Knox...but the most important aspect is obviously the product. I have only tried their tincture (all the ratios) and the vape pen in 20:1 thc to cbd and 1:1. The tincture is actually pleasant, it doesn’t burn or have a terrible taste, and it worked very well for me, however...it costs $50 for 7mL. The dosage I found worked best for me was 1mL a day (which sounds to be an average dosage for many people), which ends up being $50 per week Again, as someone else mentioned the vape was $100 for a small cartridge that would last me personally, about a month. The prices are so outrageous I actually save money driving an hour and a half from Rochester to Buffalo to go to an alternate dispensary. If they end up making their prices more affordable, I’d be happy to go back.
Overpriced, low quality, terrible service
The NYS medical marijuana program is a joke, so much of the blame can't be placed on Columbia Care. However, this place is terrible. You need to call ahead for an appointment, the quality of their products is so low it is laughable. The taste of their vaporizers makes me want to puke; isn't this supposed to make you feel less nauseous? I recently drove 7 hours to Maine (reciprocity for NYS MM cardholders) to get their tinctures/vape cartridges and I will never buy from a NYS facility again. You can get 10x the quality in Maine for 1/2 of the price

I went to Colombia Care for the first time as a patient. Had no clue how outrageous the prices were until I was introduced to MedMen. Colombia Care is cheating people out of their money!

A lot of work to do
Let me premise this review by saying that I am extremely familiar with dispensaries around the US, and I am in the cannabis industry as well. 1) Staff was nice, very friendly. Good vibe, really nice space. 2) Prices-> Outrageous. $100 for a vape cartridge? Never again. 3) Experience-> Is this a hospital or a dispensary? Security presence was tight, felt extremely important, like the President. 4) Products-> they have 9 total, lowest I have EVER seen for a dispensary of any type. 5) Vapor pen-> they let me walk out with their own proprietary battery, which I did not know I needed. It looks like a 510 thread, but trust me it doesn't work with any battery but theirs. 6) Quality of product-> I don't know, they let me walk out without a battery so I can't use it. Emailed them about this. For $100 dollars maybe throw the first one in the bag? Conclusion... Go to Massachusetts and have a buddy buy for you or visit a Rhode Island dispensary because they take out of state card and be blown away by their dispensaries, don't look back.

never again places way too expensive I rather just get it from where I've been getting it to New York is way too expensive they have many years to get where the west coast is the dispensaries are only for big businesses they make it so the regular New York citizen cannot get into the industry unless hired from Big Business I hope New York comes up with different text strategy because there's no way in hell I'm going to pay $100 for a quarter when I can get them for $60 in the weed is better then the stuff in the dispensaries in New York .

Over priced!
I’ve been here several times. Very secure but their product is a joke! It’s not their fault it’s NYSTATE! When are they going to start opening recreational marijuana? I went to Buffalo but their main ingredient is ethanol! Pure alcohol! That is why people think it’s stronger is because it’s pure grain alcohol and a little marijuana! I can’t take any form of alcohol because meds were killing my liver! So when will our governor make it legal for recreational use of marijuana? Canada NH, NJ, MA all have made it legal! Stop dragging your heals Andy & make it legal!
The worst..
I bought the high THC cartridge. $50 for a .4ml cartridge that contains a gross dark green oil that’s filled with harmful additives like PG and VG, and tastes like burnt cannabis seeds. I saw someone said theirs lasted them for a month, but not if you have any prior cannabis experience. This .4 cart lasted me 1 DAY, JUST 1 DAY! and never gave me proper relief from my symptoms. Most expensive dispensary in NY and offers the WORST product. Pretty f-ING far from “setting the standard of care”. I legitimately feel ripped off. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS
