I grow my own, so don't go into shops too often, but was hanging with some out of town friends while they toured a couple of the local herb stores.
Decided to pick up an eighth of top shelf flower to press into rosin. The staff was very honest about their lack of knowledge regarding my request, and helped me find some very frosty, fairly high percentage (and on the fresh side) herb called Blue Suede Shoes, very interesting aroma, like blueberries and shoe polish.
$40 decent price for a top shelf eighth yielded a decent percentage (18% return) and the rosin is absolutely fire, tastes just like the smell, amazing high, been puffing on it for the last couple days.
Went into Cinder to get CBD capsules for my wife. The sales person was attentive and knowledgeable. She helped us make our decision. The store had a good selection of these products. It was also nicely laid out. I would go back.
This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. They sold me an eye dropper bottle of THC infused coconut oil whose cap was broken so that you can't open it. I drove 20 minutes back to the store where they refused to do anything to replace the defective bottle I had bought only 30 minutes earlier. They told me I should "break open" the bottle to try and get the contents, ignoring the fact that this would likely result in loss of product and make it impossible for me to measure the amount I was using. I will never go here again and I would urge other shoppers to go to Royals Cannabis one block up where the customer service has always been excellent.

Moved here from San Diego, Cali so I'm used to HIGH quality and I have an honest HIGH tolerance. Was very open with them about what I was expecting and looking for and they suggested only the BEST strains. Every time I bring something new home I'm happy with. Every. Single. Time. And there are times where I've gone in asking for the most for my buck, because money was tight, and they were amazingly capable of creating a variety of strains, that were exactly what I payed for. Not the best, but its what you get for a deal. Make sure you always ask staff for things you don't see because you might get lucky sometimes! The staff is also AMAZING! Always friendly and honestly happy to see me and they remember my name every time! Big shout out to Erienne for helping us out today and most days!!!
Came to see why this shop had won the Inlander's "Best of Spokane" a couple weeks ago. Prices were competitive with other collective's in the area. Also the atmosphere was very sterile, but professional looking, almost looking to recreate a "Seattle Collective". Kind of hard to pull in when traffic is at it's busiest, and parking lot is small which won't accommodate a plethora of people. Now the employees who worked there did not represent a company that knows there product, so when someone asks what to buy they can give the best answer possible. I asked several employees what their "tolerance level", to gauge their recommendation with how much I smoke a day. What cam next baffled me, each employee that I asked barely used, if at all any cannabis. Which makes me question how they could help any customer with a recommendation when they don't even know what the product does. If you know what you like and they have it this place is a good collective. Other than that it is not the "Best of Spokane" collective as the Inlander said, far from it.
I recently interviewed for a position at this location.. The manager was a super skinny girl who I can only say had the worst interviewing skills I have ever encountered.. I have many years in management myself and have interviewed at least a hundred potential employee's.. She was completely dismissive and frankly extremely rude..she would ask a question and then stare a the security monitor, thus paying no attention to my answer..through the entire interview she allowed other employees to constantly interrupt the process as well as playing around on her phone..I have never been treated so badly in an interview.. It was pathetic and beyond unprofessional.. She has no place being a manager and it shows that the owners must be monumental idiots to allow such a obviously unqualified person to run their business..
By far the most knowledgeable budtenders. The Berry 1 from Evergreen is amazing quality bud. The cheaper strains leave a lot to be desired in my opinion, but what do you expect for 8 dollars a gram?
While some good bud is on offer here, there is also some product that can only be described as average or below. Prices are higher than some better competitors, and the store's layout is comparatively poor. But the biggest issue is the staff, who far too often lack genuine knowledge about what they are selling as well as can display indifference, even aversion, to answering questions or providing customer service.
I am in here literally everyday and I have never been upset with the bud quality. Pricing is great, and the atmosphere is incredible. That skinny older lady always seems to be annoyed with everyone when I'm in there though.
Close to my home and they have great product at a great price! I recommend at least going there and looking around. Most staff have been great.
