Great weed. But the staff is 💩. The only person that greats you with enjoyment is the blonde door lady other than that everyone looks miserable sometimes,throws the shopping experience. They also don’t know much about weed they expect you too. No one’s a real budtender

Great buds reminiscent of the west
I’m from California and Arizona most recently as a patient. This is my third medical card in 3 states. Breakwater is by far best in pricing and quality in NJ currently. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and patient. I even learned a bit more about THCN and CBG. Thanks Sky! This is the most patient centered dispensary I am aware out of 6 in the state! Crazy. I am not paid or asked to do this. I am from the west where med weed is very evolved. Pricing is better at BW and will get better if Breakwater continues to be a forerunner w/ tiered pricing. I understand the state is restrictive but you do not have to feel like it’s costing you an arm and a leg to get something higher than 22% THC. Never go for a dispensary offering pregeound if it is not shake. Ahem Harmony.. Thanks for restoring my faith in the program! The other one star posts here I don’t understand based on my experience today. Very reminiscent of the west and highly recommend this dispensary. Thanks for the kush!
Best dispensary in NJ
I have found it -- the best medical dispensary in NJ. Call the 🔥 department, the house-engineered Kush IV, with its piney, citrus, jetfuel-diesel taste is about the most distinctive and amazing bud I've ever had, and potent at 25 percent THC. I don't know its exact genetics but I'm guessing OG Kush, diesel, maybe Headband? In beautiful glass jars, their bud is so masterfully grown, so kif-encrusted and dank, I could cry with joy. The setup is more welcoming, warm and colorful than Curaleaf's bank atmosphere, it's more reminiscent of a West Coast marijuana dispensary than the sterile vibe NJ dispensaries often have. Also, the staff told me their strains are almost always available, and they are very symptom-oriented. Also the first NJ dispensary that didn't classify everything as either sativa or indica, which to me is an oversimplified way of classifying bud
The best dispensary in NJ, hands down.
The only dispensary that matches Breakwater’s quality is Garden State Dispensary, which is overpriced in my opinion. The only people who complain about Breakwater are those who don’t show up to their first appointment on time or those who don’t understand why they can only consult with new patients on 2 days of the week. If you can get over this and wanna purchase high quality marijuana at an affordable price, go to Breakwater. If u want to be butthurt because YOU were late for your appointment then go smoke curaleafs moldy weed😭
Grape ape oil is on point
I don't touch oil or extracts unless they are solvent free, and the grape ape oil at 85 percent thc Vapes clean, tasting delicious, of hash and floral, grapey terpenes, not chemicals. It's a huge improvement on Curaleaf's oil, that's for sure They also sell a super reasonable cartridge and vape pen battery (entire unit, 11 bucks). If you want to try oil for relief of symptoms I highly recommend this, though it's more a night time strain for sure, sleepy and stoney and heavy-eyed euphoria that turns into munchies and sleep
Great Place!
Checked out curaleaf and GSD Union and my visit to breakwater was by far the best experience! The staff are very knowledgeable and super friendly. Actually enjoyed the consult and learned some things. Additionally, the carts are super high quality. Very, very expensive but almost worth the price which is saying a lot. These cartridges are of a much better quality than even high end distillate cartridges one may find on the street. Will definitely be returning!

this is one of the most amazing indica heavy strains ever!!! i smoked a bowl with my wife watched an episode of stranger things 2 layed in bed n both passed out.... slept all night woke up feeling good ... still a little high but in a good mood... amazing for relaxing n sleeping.... n yes it does make u lazy... but in the best way possible.... u will be very comfortable after a few hits... also great staff very educational and very nice... 5 stars

Ok so I have been going there for almost a year and have to say everyone that works there is wonderful very helpful very knowledgeable they take their time even if you have very strange questions they make you feel important they don’t rush you and they are very helpful!!!!

Awesome first experience!
First time to Breakwater, super friendly not just to me but to everyone that walked up to the front desk, a few people had problems with there prescriptions and instead of just turning them around they did what they could do to help. The store is very clean, everyone was super helpful and super freakin happy! Lol can’t wait to go back!!

been to "garden state dispensary" and it was ok, switched to "breakwater" and in my opinion its alot more knowledgeable about their products and more courteous to their patients. im very happy about the switch i made. product is product, but when you are treated with compassion and have a tender that is knowledgeable about their products it just makes the process easier and more comfortable. thank you "breakwater" !!!!

Well worth the wait!
Great Staff, reasonable prices, very consistent in their strains unlike other dispensaries which tend to be hit or miss in terms of what one is looking for. I had to wait two months to even get in the door for my new patient appointment but it was well worth It! This is by far the best Dispensary I've been to in NJ!

They keep you informed of unlike other companies, they run some great sales and the actually let you know about it before it is over or they are out. My go to place 100% of the time.

I was nervous, I was put at ease by the staff of kind, helpful, knowledgeable employees, who were upbeat and confident. Between my son having described my needs, and the staff's suggestions of the strains I try first, I cannot describe the improvement of my severe pain. The facility is discreet, spotless, well stocked with amazing strains and amazing employees. Prices are fair, products are consistent, and although there is a facility closer, this is where I will remain a customer. 5 Star, absolutely. Thank you, all of you at Breakwater!

This is the only NJ dispensary that gives seniors a straight 15% discount, plus another 10% first time discount. Saved 25% today.Wow! What a great experience! The people there are as pro as can be and the weed is as good as can be!! What a difference, after buying wack weed on the black market. I just vaped the lemon G sativa and it's as Primo Bud as it gets!!!! And yes, it tasted like lemons! This was my first dispensary experience and it was like a dream come true after a lifetime of dealing with Refer Madness. But don't show up for your first appointment, without calling first. They have rules and don't play. This will be my only dispensary. Thanks Dani and Sam! You're the best!!
Best quality in NJ hands down
Been to a lot of dispos and worked at one as well - this one by far exceeds all of them in terms of quality, customer experience and pricing. I can’t find a dispo in nj that has a better combo of highest quality around , fair price and easy to purchase (location I use hardly has lines)
