RSO (Rick.Simpson.Oil) is a highly concentrated, full-spectrum extract that’s produced using the whole plant. Flower, trim and leaves are placed in a solvent like ethanol where cannabinoids and other beneficial compounds are stripped from plant matter. Next, the liquid mixture is strained through a cheesecloth or coffee filter to remove all solid plant material. The mixture is then purged of remaining solvents using a low temperature vacuum oven, leaving behind a concentrated oil. That oil is then heated to a specific temperature to ensure decarboxylation has occurred, which activates the THC. Unlike other concentrates, RSO uses the whole plant which gives it a very heavy, therapeutic body high. Users should dose themselves low & slow to begin.
