Staff was very friendly and helpful, prices were excellent! They take Credit/Debit Card, which is ahead of the industry! Great dispensary overall. My only criticism is hard to find location and no clear menu of all of their products.
They have high quality buds and concentrates at the best prices plus a friendly helpful staff. Shout out to Julian for never making me feel rushed and always answering all my questions! You guys rock!
Went in feeling really sick they kind fast and very reasonably price will defiantly go again

I first left this review just a few days ago, on the Botanacare 21+ adult use weedmaps site. That site no longer exists, and neither do any of the reviews; unsurprisingly, most of them were quite unflattering, and this one was no exception. Do yourself a favor and read it; and before you ask, yes I'm a MMJ patient and yes I've also been to their MMJ store. The review is still very accurate, though the pricing information is a little different, and the incident I reference at the end occurred on the 21+ side. Keep in mind that I posted the review below on April 25, which was 3 days ago, and their 21+ page on weedmaps was still active. Now, the review in question:
I'll be honest, I want to like Botanacare. I really do. They're close to me geographically, they have stereotypically stoner employees, and they have a really nice store now that the new recreational side is open. But I can't like Botanacare, and here's why:
First, they're charging way too much. Why would anyone buy 1/8th recreationally at $45 before tax? You can drive the 20ish minutes downtown and pay 30% less. The pre-roll prices seem more reasonable, until you see their pre-roll. It's smaller than my pinky finger. Once again, multiple dispensaries sell pre-rolls downtown that are around 1g and are comparably priced. Is the convenience of not driving downtown worth the markup? The answer is no.
Second, they don't take care of their bud. They insist on storing it in plastic bags that breath too easily, and so all their buds end up being excessively dry. Any seasoned smoker knows that overly dry bud burns too quickly and is a harsher smoke than buds with a proper cure.
Third, they insist on using packaging (those plastic bags) that is not compliant with the law for exit. That traps you; either buy a special bag from them to transport it (it costs extra, of course) or you can't actually exit the building with what you just bought. Hidden costs are awful and obnoxious, and not what anyone wants to experience. Plus, next time you shop there what if you leave home without your special bag they sold you? Then you have to buy another one. Bonus points for being really frustrating: they also no longer accept the white bags with zipper seals. That would be less frustrating if I hadn't been given the bag at another dispensary specifically to transport my purchases in compliance with the law.
Finally (and I debated whether to include this), they do not have their customer's welfare at heart. We had friends visit from Texas last month. One of them is not interested in smoking, but wanted to know if a topical would be effective. Shopping at Botanacare, she was discouraged by the size of the bottle. There was so much, she wouldn't be able to use it before leaving the state. The salesperson encouraged her to purchase the topical cream, and (illegally) transport it across state lines and back home. Let that sink in for a minute. That's right, the salesperson was so interested in making a sale that she was willing to advise illegal behavior (in fact, interstate transport is technically a federal crime) in front of 3 other people (myself, my wife, and our friend's husband). That's not someone you want selling you buds; in fact, that's probably the last person you want selling you buds.
In a nutshell, every transaction at Botanacare I've ever had felt like dealing with the shady-looking wookie-foot tourhead selling pot in between cars at a Phish parking lot scene. Don't do that to yourself. Go to a good shop, there are plenty in the Denver area.
It took me forever to find a place that expects Medical Patients under 21. I called and the lady was super friendly and totally welcoming. It was my first time and I was a little nervous. I thought I would be over whelmed, but the lady was totally cool. She helped me out and referred me to some new flower. Which I believe will be my new go-to. I will definitely be returning to this location.
I visited this place yesterday looking for a new place to try. I won't be returning, they only had 1/8th in weed and not an amazing selection. I then ended up paying 60$ for it all, I think that was a Lil pricey. Not a great visit but the weed does get me high .
Staff is helpful. My purchases were explained thoroughly because I'm new to the state. I'll be a repeat customer, for sure!
