Not to be confused with Mai Tai Cookies, the strain Mai Tai has a few questions surrounding its origins. On the one hand, we have the tale that seems to be most commonly told: Mai Tai is a cross of Maui Waui and Tutti Frutti. However, one of the prominent California cultivators, Jungle Boys, claims that they use a cross of Purple Punch and Sunset Sherbert to produce their version of Mai Tai.
