What is a 'Live' concentrate? 

Live concentrates are made from flower that's frozen immediately upon harvesting; rather than allowing the plants to hang dry & cure before extracting oils. This achieves a terpene profile that closer resembles the plants' smell & taste at the moment they're harvested, rather than experiencing the modulation that takes place through the drying process (loss & degradation of terpenes, due to light, heat, and oxygen). Live concentrates are reported by patients to provide more prevalent relief to their symptoms than concentrates made from cured flower - this can be attributed to a stronger entourage effect, since a more full blend of cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids are present.

What is 'SHO'?

SHO stands for Solventless Hash Oil - a cannabis concentrate that's made by washing live buds with ice and water to create bubble hash, which is then gently pressed under low temperature & pressure to produce oil. SHO is higher grade and safer for patients than traditional dab extracts, since the removal of the trichomes from the plant material (pressing hash) produces an oil that contains significantly less fat/lipid content, since those are left remaining in the (removed) plant material.
