Regular strain from the Old School Genetics Collective, a real old school Sativa developed from a very special elite clone, the Jamaican x Blueberry cut selected by grower Marleys from Cannabiscafe forum.

Jamaican Blueberry is an early flowering, mostly Sativa variety ideal for outdoor crops and greenhouses. It develops beautiful colors which range from reddish to bluish, a true delight for the eyes. The buds end the bloom stage wholly covered with trichomes and release a very intense lemony scent.
If planted directly in the ground it will show its full potential and Sativa behavior. It grows fast and slender, with long and robust side branches that support the weight of the buds without problem.
If grown indoors, soil is the best medium for this plant. Its Jamaican landrace genes don’t make it suitable for hydroponic systems since it is not used to high levels of oxygen in the root area.
The flowering period is fast, needing only 60 days to ripen.
Taste and effects
Marleys’ Jamaican Blueberry has intense citric and incensed notes, typical of some tropical Sativas. If you love old school Sativas you must try this one!
The effect is creative and stimulating, ideal for smoking during the daytime. It quickly reaches 17% THC, and the uplifting effect that it induces is perfect to socialize and have lots of fun.

Philosopher Seeds are currently developing new genetics from clones and seeds brought from the USA, also strains rich in other cannabinoids than THC and CBD. We can't wait to see the results of these projects!

Blueberry, commonly known as DJ Short Blueberry, is an Indica-leaning hybrid strain created by legendary breeder DJ Short. The strain was bred by crossing a male Afghani landrace, only one generation removed from Afghanistan, with two Thai females — Highland Thai (aka Juicy Fruit) and Purple Thai — which he claims produced virtually identical results.
Blueberry reportedly grows medium-to-tall in a 49-56 day flowering period, producing THC levels that range between 16% to 24%. Best grown indoors,especially using the Sea of Green method, the strain tends to produce above-average yields of dense, sticky, purple-hued buds. When cured properly, this strain reportedly gives off an aroma and taste that resemble fresh blueberries.
Though DJ Short was the initial breeder of Blueberry, other seed banks have also experimented with this strain with great success. For instance, a Blueberry strain produced by the Noon won Best Indica and best strain overall in the 2000 High Times Cannabis Cup, while another Blueberry strain from Dutch Passion Seed Co. won third place in the Indica Cup at the 2002 High Times Cannabis Cup.
