New York Diesel
NYC Diesel Autoflowering was brought into being when a hybrid of the classic New York City Diesel and the awesome Diesel Autoflowering was crossed. As a result of this the flavor and yield have improved compared to many autoflowering strains of the first generation. NYC Diesel Autoflowering still has that typical chemical, fuel-like diesel aroma and taste but not quite as intense as the original and yet you are well-advised to check your ventilation system.
NYC Diesel Autoflowering hastens from germination to harvest within only 8-9 weeks, finishing its life-cycle at a maximum height of only 80cm-110cm when reared indoors. Grown outdoors the plants grow only marginally taller, namely up to 130cm at a max. An average indoor yield will amount to 300-350g/m² - outdoors 60 grams per plant is pretty much the minimum.
15% of the loot are THC and the CBD level is low which translates to an energetic high. The smoke of NYC Diesel Autoflowering buds gives you a good and very enjoyable Sativa kick - clear and clean, without goofing around with your logical reasoning. NYC Diesel, also called New York Diesel and Soma Sour Diesel, is a creation of Amsterdam-based seed bank Soma Seeds, first bred by the geneticist Soma in 1997. After the New York City terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, Soma decided to name the strain NYC Diesel as an homage to his childhood home. This sativa-leaning strain is a cross of Mexican Sativa and Afghani landrace.
Soma also reports that this strain is distinguished by a strong smell and taste of ripe, red grapefruit, and tends to produce soothing effects. NYC Diesel won second place in the Sativa category at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2001, 2003, and 2004.
