We created Breez in 2015 when my grandfather was struggling with the side-effects of aggressive cancer treatment. I spent weeks failing to convince him to try cannabis for relief; no matter what study, article, or statistic I shared, he refused. On our last night together he told me, “I know you’re right. I know cannabis will help me. But I just can’t do it.” He had his reasons. I left heartbroken. I called my partner Anna from the road home - we realized my grandfather needed to overcome the stigma and misunderstandings leftover from prohibition - he needed a product that was simple, reliable and above all accessible. That's when our Breez was born. Although my grandfather passed away before we could share Breez with him, his inspiration lives on every time we hear a story from someone about how Breez has helped them, a friend, or a loved one.
