There's no Washington state law stating that identification has to be horizontal to be accepted in a retail marijuana store. This is a management decision and definitely hurts your business. Turning away customers who have other forms proving their vertical ID is legitimate is unfair. Buy an ID scanner, it's not like you can't afford it. I drove over an hour from Chelan on my birthday in hopes that I would get the same respect as someone with a horizontal ID. Should definitely reconsider this policy, because I went straight to one of your competitors and they accepted my ID and apologized for the inconvenience and even provided me with a free small glass pipe with my purchase. Bad management decisions= bad business= bad reviews. Maybe next time your lazy manager should come out of the back office and try to see if there is a way to help a customer out by hearing their situation out before having an employee turn them away.
