Budtender was friendly & knowledgeable. They had several products I hadn’t seen before & reasonable prices.

I have been going here regularly since they opened and have always had great experiences. Until I went in intending to use my 20% off card. Long story short, went to checkout & my cost was $25 higher than it would’ve been at full price. I questioned it, he rang me up as 4 individual quarters, etc. despite my explicitly asking if I could split an ounce 4 ways. Ended up saying he “would take” the full amount of the ounce I was buying (rather than the cost of 4 individual quarters) & other items. His pleasant demeanor was gone. Basically, I went in with a 20% off card, was charged above normal price, then made to feel like I was getting a deal when I paid exactly full price for everything. The experience didn’t sit well with me, especially after the amount of money & time I have spent there. Be aware of prices!

The last 3 strains I have purchased have been full of seeds. I have mentioned it in person & been brushed off.. essentially “yep, there’s seeds in some.” We need different tier pricing or something - $25 an 8th is great for good bud. Not for 15+ seeds an 8th or 1/4 at a time.

Owner (I think?) is very knowledgeable and friendly. Both times I’ve gone in he was there & very helpful. The first time I got a topical pain cream I loved, and recommended it to a friend. Later, he came in with me to purchase the cream, and asked another employee in the store if it there were nuts in the product. He was told there was not. Upon arriving home and opening the package, he discovered one of the first ingredients was almond oil. He has a severe nut allergy and was very disappointed. I was disappointed that I had spoken so highly of the dispensary.

I have been regularly going to Root 66 for close to a year. They have always had fantastic service & awesome bud, but the recent price drops have made this the only place I go at this point. Awesome flower, huge selection, and low prices. Worth the drive, for sure.
