This location should be responsible for the reimbursement of my Colorado state ID after allowing a customer to walk off with my identification card. The way your staff went about recovering my ID was immensely unprofessional, down to your tired muscle of a security guard. Now my "highroller" wallet and friends will never give High Tops a dime. As for the sorry budtender that let my ID get taken here's some advice; next time you take a customer's ID from them do not place it in a unsecured area. Assuming they heard you is a no no especially with documents as important as a state ID/DL. Make sure you gain customers full undivided attention and always put the ID directly into their hand. As for how the store is ran; This is obviously a high volume location. The logistics of the movement of customers through the buying process obviously needs to be revised and restructured 100%. This at least would ensure the safety of customers identification cards so this never happens again.
