Had sour D from GLeaf. It was not packaged correctly. Let me explain. Temescal has vertical tall containers and Gleaf has wide deep containers with an air space. The experience difference here is due to improper grower packaging which results in an inferior smell. I simply repackaged mine in to my key lime container and instantly improved in moisture, flavor and enjoyment. I too noticed the immediate headache the first smoke. This is a really strong sativa and I had been smoking 50/50 blends. It does “smack” you upon first intro. However smoothed our and I like it a lot. It is decent for my rheumatoid arthritis, Temescal still has better terps and over all medicine and will remain my go to as they grow their own and control the most factors.

I want to extend a huge thank you to James at Maggie’s who reached out to me after my recent purchase and issue. There has never been a “comment box” for anything like this and I certainly didn’t expect much to happen after. I was directly contacted by the grower Grassroots within a day. Tracy at grass roots called me and took time to discuss the issues and rectified the situation. I can’t possibly say anything but positive things about Maggie’s and especially an amazing company like Grassroots. In a new industry like this, it’s important to have people that care. This is a shining example of customer service and true caring individuals who actually want to get the correct medicine to patients. If you are up in the air about coming here, don’t be, please come and support these great local businesses.

I have tried everything on the menu, there isn’t anything bad. The blueberry cereal is sort of light in buds and steamy, I stay away from that after trying it twice and having the concentrate. My go to is he key lime cookies. For the price, $60, the quality and price meet in a place that I can reason with. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the Strawberry Cookies, Starburst #7, Sunday Brunch, Lemmon Banana Sherbet and the Ken GDP.....the prices are just too high. It sucks, cuz this is the best place in MD I have seen. There are mistakes to be made and you won’t be unsatisfied here, but your wallet will take a beating. You will get the medicine you seek. Wish the wait was shorter, can’t wait for the Express orders! I know my bud, these are 5 star worthy strains. Staff is very nice and know what they are talking about. I love that you can see all the buds on the menu. Other dispensaries take note: temescal is gold standard.

Yesterday I picked up some of the Grassroots Sweet T, thinking this would be their version of “sweet tooth”. Let me first say there was clearly two different kinds of bud in the container. The shop had no way for me to view the most potent buds on their menu, which is the Appalachia and Sweet T, both being about 20%. I opened the jar when I got out of the shop and the bud has ZERO smell. I was also disappointed that there was an unadvertised bud in their along side what was clearly anther strain! What kind of game is that? No terp smell at all. Buds look good, dripping with tricromes. Smokes ok, but not very good tasting. Just like any kid of middle of the road bud you could buy for under $50. The price was $60. I had to pay it as the normal dispensary that I go to was closed and I needed something for my arthritis. This bud does little to make me feel better. I received a pamphlet that was supposed to contain all the strains a grassroots grows and this one was not on it. Not happy.
