I got four strains to try out, starting with the cheaper ones. One got subbed for a mid-price because of lack of availability. One was good, two were okay, last was shake. The curing and drying is done properly which is kind of a big deal and the majority of my 4/5 score. The trimming could be better and one vial was almost all shake, may have even been a seed. That's a real let down especially at higher prices. Staff was polite but should show bud in the vials about to be purchased to customers without being asked. Going to try two more mid level today and see if it gets a little more consistent.

First, the staff is fantastic - very polite, helpful, and doing their best with what they have to work with at Maggie's. The bud is inconsistent, and the selection is very poor. At one point they didn't even have loose buds and you could only buy preroll, which I dislike because I don't like my buds to be "over-handled". Trichromes exist but they aren't always present (i.e. huge quality ebbs and flows). Also, they are the only game in town and their prices reflect it. I would seriously consider checking out Denver's recreational stores, you will save on the bud the money you spend on gas. Especially considering the largest selection they have had in a few trips was 4 strains. Four. I would never have known how a rec shop could be if I hadn't investigated Denver as well. Atmosphere is tightly packed and often tense from other complaining customers. Convenient location and nice staff, everything else is a crap shoot with heavy house odds. Did I mention Denver?

I have held off on this review for some time. I have tried 16 different strains from Terrapin, while everyone will have their own opinion on efficacy and enjoyment, every single bud was well trimmed, covered with kief/trichromes. I have seen 8 other offerings, including medically issued smoke, that have not even approached the appearance let alone the quality that Terrapin offers. Not only that but their prices are absolutely outstanding - many, many quotes in Colorado for $20 per gram or more when I can get less than $10 per gram of the best bud I've had in years. I wouldn't even bother shopping anywhere else. Even at a distance away, in Colorado Springs, it is far cheaper and is a much better recreational experience than my time at Maggie's (at least four visits). I am in love with this place!

I found out about Terrapin Care Station through weedmaps and their DANKS-giving special (get it now before 12/1) was just too good to pass up. The staff were all very polite and attentive with smiles on their faces and a genuine desire to help me. As a consumer I hold that in very high regard. When I made a major faux pas they handled it with consideration and grace which is a rare quality to find in a business. Bacon (love that name!) had not only a beautiful face but a beautiful personality. Very helpful! I went in with an 8 item laundry list and they had everything I wanted. Bacon even showed each strain to me, without having to be asked, which was a very nice touch. I found everyone to be helpful, personable and extremely cool. I could not recommend this place enough. I was absolutely thrilled with everything I got. Will be returning!
