The tincture started working within 24 hrs. She was noticeably in less pain. The next day she was alert, more responsive, and the stiffness seemed to be better. I've used this product for a few years and it never fails to work. I recommend starting with the 10:1. If you use too much then they get lethargic and their appetite drops off. My guess is, the THC in the tincture gets them stoned if you use too much.
