This super approachable dispensary has just always put a smile on my face. Years ago, when pot shops were hard to come by, ESPECIALLY in rural and far off locations. I was in the tiny coastal town and was shocked to see that right there amongst the little chocolate shops and what-have-you, there was a dispensary of all things!! The guy then was friendly and was promoting a Bud n Breakfast they were involved in and I recall just thinking I had died and gone to heaven! I’ve popped in now and again in my rare travels up to Mendo. But the other day I was reminded of what Ive always wanted out of the dispensary experience and love about visiting those outside of the busy urban areas. It was a fun time where everyone was jovial and relaxed. My bud tender was a kick and he shared a stoner tale regarding HumFarms Purple Punch and to this moment I can’t get all of the friendly smiles out of my head. If you are looking for great product selection and a homey and inviting experience, you arrived!

So I popped into here a couple of weeks ago. While I admit, my own purchases were weird, the place was not! I was on a hunt for high cbd edibles, which they had many of. But due to the fact that that’s what I was looking for, I feel like I left it without even exploring its full potential. My bad! Because I did see that their menu is loaded with premium flower options. The bud tender was a sweetie and put up with all my crap, racing around to check edibles and mgs for everything even though I could tell he was ready to get outta there. And to me, THAT speaks volumes. This place is also open late and rt near the university. So if you’re a student or a parent visiting your student, this is super convenient! For the menu I had to visit their website as the menu was not yet available on weedmaps. So be aware of that and don’t give up because you can’t pull up a weedmaps menu. It’s a great shop.

I stopped though here with my husband a couple of weeks back on our way to Oregon for some cannatouring. It’s a nice shop with a great selection of goodies. Lots of flower, lots of pre roll options as well as a good selection of edibles and therapeutics. I grabbed a little of everything pre packaged there (concentrates,preroll,caps). So flowers I did not try. But from a selection standpoint, they have a great menu and can attest to that. Vibe and customer service, which I find more important sometimes than the flower (cuz let’s face it..there’s plenty of places to get flower!), was ok. The guy helping me was very sweet and put up with my chattiness well. Other guy there was super quiet even when spoken to. :/ So an ok vibe. But if you are looking for good variety or something they specifically have, it’s absolutely worth the stop. Plus you get a gorgeous view of Mt Shasta from the parking lot! ;)

Ok. So I’ve cannatoured this area a bit recently and this place stands out in my memories of all my stops. It’s the kind of place you get to and feel like your stepping into your friends house. Such an organic and natural welcoming vibe! I also learned a lot about a company that I have been curious about for a while during my visit. And even though it was pretty busy for a small place, you didn’t feel like you were getting slighted at all with service. When there I grabbed some of their own flower as well as Raw Garden sauce. All good prices and all great product! Very knowledgeable staff and aesthetically pleasing interiors. If you are newer to cannabis or feel intimidated still by shops, these folks will make you feel welcome and taken care of. And for regular shop goers, you will find a spot where you can talk product a bit and really enjoy the experience. A great stop in Shasta!

Stopped through here on a canna road trip a month ago. Was shocked to see so many of the previous dispensaries in this town fizzled after July 1! But this place is standing and if you’re in Weed and looking to partake in its namesake then it’s a perfectly good shop. Really big space that clearly has grander future plans. But in the meantime it’s a little half together feeling. Product and price wise, you will find a lot of choices at typical prices. I felt some Willies PreRolls I got as well as well as some of their other pre packaged products were being carried over from quite some time ago. But I was aware of that as I bought it. So my error in judgement. What I’m saying is, maybe stick to the fresher grass (not prerolls) and check edible dates, etc. Now while my review sounds persnickety. It’s not my intention as this is a lovely place. It just needs a little fine tuning and perhaps more sales to keep fresher products moving in as well as more knowledgeable and guiding staff.

If I lived any closer, this place would be a problem! I mean, seriously. Always soooo many great brands and strains and products. All for the best prices in Cali, I will swear to you! And believe me, I travel around the state and dispensary hop. These guys are a freakin gem! Plus the last time I was there they had a new bud tender, Gary. And I’m horrible with names, so my apologies if I’ve got that wrong. But he is a doll beyond dolls and if you want to feel taken care of; or are new to the scene and want to be taken under a wing. Ask for someone named or that sounds like Gary. 😉 He will be your guide. Anyhow, I consider this my go to for the full experience or a quickie. Whichever suits this patients needs. It’s worth sometimes a two hour trip in traffic almost every other week. That’s how much I love them. And btw, there is a Rita’s Frozen Custard and Ice across the street, which to me makes the whole experience just 💯IMO. 🙌🍧🍦

I’ve been through here a few times and really had a nice time with each visit. Be ready for a slightly different experience. But i assure you. It’s the way to go. A more hands on experience where you can discuss the products as you move around the displays. They’ll check prices, investigate item details and take your order rt there on an iPad and send it off to the back where they process it all and get it bagged up for ya. It’s really a nice experience. Definitely a place I’d recommend for a first timer as the approach, I can imagine, being ideal for someone new to the dispensary experience. But definitely for the pros and OGs as well. An all around cool place with a ton of premium products. Great if you’re in the southern area of Santa Cruz or Capitola. ~ Spliff_Odyssey_

I stopped through here on 4/20 as part of my hiking and dispensary odyssey to celebrate the day. They had such a rad vibe! Taco truck with its own seating area with live music and such! Really made it feel like a special day. Even with the busy aspect of the day, they had it well under control. They also had everything I wanted. Which is always SO nice! While I totally failed to check out their flowers. I got all sorts of great concentrates. They carry many cool name brand products and premium goods. So if you like the new and the best, they will likely have it! I love love love this town and it’s neighboring town of Murphy’s! So rad to have an awesome dispensary amongst it all! So I am so excited to know about this place! I often camp and hike and day trip all over the Sierras and make it a point to have many dispensary experiences along the way. This place is most definitely going to be not only my go to on the way to places like Yosemite, as it’s rt on the path. But it also may be where I trek out to get my true stash altogether! Prices and quality just can’t be beat! And I live in the east bay with access to pretty much any place over here within the hour. And I’d still much rather come here! The staff is precious and helpful. The location is SO easy. Just make sure you’re looking for the address number! Not the name. And a very cool use of that space, might I add! I was here when doors opened on 4/20. I was on my way to the Arnold area to hike and planned to hit up a couple of shops en route. This was my first stop and first time here. Easy to find. Secure parking lot. Even on that super busy day they kept things moving smoothly and had what I wanted. The flowers! I tried the Gushers, Smarties, Tangimal and Dosidos. Some of which I still have. Cuz they’re all so good you don’t burn through them so fast (potent). Plus you want to hoard them a bit. Prices are great to boot. Especially on 4/20!! Lots of deals. And they fed me a burger fresh off the grill! Definitely worth the stop if you find yourself in Stockton (or San Jose)! ~ spliff_odyssey_
