Let me start this review off by saying this dispensary has been my absolute favorite place to buy all my cannabis/hash for nearly the last 4 years now, the place has been unbelievably good to me since day one. Despite some of the budtenders coming and going as time has passed, I've always seemed to have amazing chemistry with the staff (whoever it may be that day). During the summertime when I love in Denver, I shop here roughly 2-3 times a week. I actually enjoy shopping at Silver Stem Colfax so much that during the rest of the year, I drive all the way from Fort Collins where I go to school to purchase products multiple times a month. After coming to Denver to buy bud recently, I was informed that there is no longer a strain on special pricing as there has been nearly every day I've shopped there for the last year at least (if not much longer). The special oz's were my bread and butter. It let me try different strains in the shop without breaking my buck every time I visit. I've legitimately spent THOUSANDS of dollars shopping here, so it's extremely heartbreaking having to make this post. I'm very hopeful that the special oz's being a regular thing will make a comeback in the near future, but I'm worried that may not be the case. As such a loyal customer, I'll be extremely crushed if I end up feeling the need to switch my medical membership to a new dispensary. Being a broke college student, I'm growing worried that I will no longer be able to afford the quantities I've grown accustomed to, due to recent price changes and the lack of the special oz's. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Silver Stem Colfax Med, don't make me switch my membership! It's by far the last thing I want to do. I'm hopeful that someone from corporate hears my plea and can fix these upsetting new changes. If you made it to the end, thank you for spending your time reading. I really do appreciate it. P.S. I went down to Mindful, Berthoud earlier this week after receiving a text deal that said I could come buy a $500 oz of TR live resin. After calling to confirm the price and that they were stocked, I drove down there to buy an oz of live resin. As I was checking out and selecting my grams for the deal, the manager came and interrupted the sale, explaining that the text deals are only honored for members. I've been down here at least 20 times before for text deals without ever being a member. I then explained that I drove down all the way from Fort Collins and they were understanding enough to honor it that one time. Wish they would be more specific on their text deals or at least that the employee would have asked if I was a member when I called in about the deal. I probably will not be returning as a non-member anytime in the near future haha. Sad that this spot has such good meds, yet such a messed up system.
