Good Prices, Unpleasant Experience

I live some 20+ miles away in a community that has no dispensaries. I went to Elevate because, although there are closer places, it has the products I wanted. I’ve been there twice now, but it’s not a fun place to go. Music (so-called) is so loud, you can’t hear yourself think. Very harmful to employees who have to be in it all day. Someone’s going to make a fortune selling hearing aids to these folks in a few years. Store is small, crowded, and doesn’t have enough staff. I had to wait 8 minutes for one of the two counter clerks to help me. The clerks were talking and laughing with customers who had already concluded their business but weren’t leaving. In the meantime, I asked a third staffer, but she seemed to be restocking and couldn’t do anything. When I finally did see a bud tender, she didn’t seem to know anything. She disappeared “into the back” to answer a question and didn’t reappear for quite a while. When I asked her what my total cost would be, she did that again. A transaction that should have taken five minutes, from coming into the showroom untl walking out the door, took twenty. This place seems like a party center for employees, not a serious business. The dispensary is located on the ground floor of a two story shopping complex. There is a huge “For Lease” sign plastered over the dispensary windows. The first time I went there, I thought the shop was vacant, until I saw one door cracked open slightly. The center is in a large and very dirty parking lot, debris and trash strewn everywhere. Good things: it’s freeway-close. The prices are fair. The selection is excellent (I mostly buy concentrates, so that’s what I’m going on ). Otherwise, though,I think I won’t be coming back. The small size, the crowds, the ignorant and cavalier attitudes, the noise ... not worth it
