I've been a patient over at CCA for almost a year now. I love coming here, they always make you feel welcome. I've tried some great strains from here, some really unique (The New, Third Eye, Sunlake OG, Ed Rose) and some really really bomb versions of favorites (Twisted Sister, A-Train, Kryptonite OG) Everytime I come in here I always get some great recommendations. I also like that if I just want to browse around and check everything out myself, they give you that freedom. It really is collective for everyone. More recently when I came in I received a free edible for donating for 2 1/8ths. That had never happened to me before and was a nice little surprise. Little things like that really make a difference to me. I've seen a lot of nice strains in here- more recently Larry OG, Beyond Blueberry, But I've also recently enjoyed Tangerine Dream and God's Gift. Their Master Kush also never disappoints. Tangerine Dream: Semi dense, fluffy nugs with light green leaves mixed with brownish/dark orange hairs. Very frosty, I was able to collect a nice amount of kief from this flower in my grinder. Smells very fruity, alot like blue dream. (I do believe this is tangerine kush x blue dream- could be wrong on this one, but it definitely had a lot of blue dream characteristics-fruity, hazy, etc) Sweet smelling with a nice citrus punch. Also has a nice musky undertone. Tastes a lot like it smells, sweet citrus mixed with a delicious earthy kush. Really enjoyable and pleasant to smoke to roll up. This is a really effective sativa. After just a couple of tokes this one hits you rights in the eyes. Very relaxing, but not too relaxing. I found myself cleaning my apartment, answering emails, etc. Great day time smoke, functional yet stony. I was medicated for a good while on this one too. 1.5-2 hrs when smoked out of my bubbler. Gods Gift: Tight, compact buds. Olive green and deep purple leaves mixed with orange hairs, and completely covered in a layer of fine, snowy, crystals. Under the light, the purple leaves and trichs glisten like diamonds. A real beauty. Smells sweet and fruity with a spice. A very subtle OG smell mixes in with a really sugary, musty, scent. Tastes very floral and earthy. Really smooth smoke that is also really sweet on the exhale. Tastes likes a spiced fruit, super mellow. I left this one right away behind the eyes and in my fore-arms. I could feel my body tingling and all my muscles relaxing. While extremely mellow, I was also able to somewhat function. However the more and more I medicated with this flower, the more I found myself locked onto the couch, watching 30 Rock. The length of this buzz is also pretty decent. I smoke a decent sized joint over the course of an hour and was medicated for well over 3 hours. No creeper on this one, hitting you fast and hard. Great after 4:20/night-time med. Master Kush: Dense, very dank, sticky, medium to large sized nugs. Beautiful dark green/olive colored leaves with dark orange hairs sprouting out between the light coat of frosty trichs surrounding the buds. Smells wonderfully earthy, musky, kush smell that I've gotten to really enjoy. Honestly reminds me of pine cones and the woods. Tastes really rich, smooth and creamy all at the same time. A truly relaxing med for sure. For me, this strain is so home it's like comfort food. I really love strains that I just connect with like that. For me, this is exactly what I am looking for in a PM strain (night-time med.) I felt immediate relief and relaxation in my entire body on the very first toke. Hits you behind the eyes first, then really settles into your entire body until you are floating on cloud 9. Great for my insomnia and pain relief. Another great visit from CCA, can't wait to return. :)

I love GDC. Honestly, I take 3 freeways and about 20 miles roundtrip to get here, which is the only reason they lose a star on accessibility. It's probably a good thing there is some distance between us, because I would probably be tempting to waaay out spend on my meds budget. :) The last couple visits I came here I can definitely see they are becoming more and more popular. And honestly, with their selection of wax, it's not that hard to see why. I have had some delicious honeycombs from here in the past couple months. A lot of other shops concentrates selection just does not compare to GDC, IMO. That is not to say there are not some fantastic clinics/collectives that also have a great concentrate selection, but this is Green Dragon's review ;). More recently I've enjoyed the Sour D x Jack H, Super Og, LA Con, Sour Diesel and Maui Waui honeycombs. What I really enjoyed equally about all of them is their flavor. These concentrates all taste exactly like the flowers they were made from. I'm certainly no expert, but I would say that is exactly what you want from your medication. This process of medicating is still really new to me, and not many of my friends medicate this way, so I tend to be on my own. That really hasn't bothered me as I find myself really enjoying not only the flavor and taste, but also the effectiveness. 1-2 dabs is like a bubbler bowl to my face. And in this crazy fast pace world, sometime you need to get medicated and get going. We don't always have time to kick back and smoke a relaxing J. The Sour Jack, Sour D and Maui waxes were extremely effective daytime meds for sure. I find myself really loving the full flavor of the sour jack myself, but all these waxes were tasty and POTENT. The Maui wax especially. I found myself balancing my finances with that wax, and that is not usually my department. The Super OG had a very light smell, not a knock you out pungent OG (like the Def Star), but it was still a great smoke. Not a super heavy OG, and I usually mixed it with my daytime meds. I’ve also really enjoyed the flowers I’ve picked up from here. Def Star OG and the Barack OBubba def stand out in my mind. DEF STAR OG: That delicious, piney, gasoline OG smells hits you as soon as the jar is popped. Dark, forest green leaves absolutely covered in snowy trics. Not hard to see why this flower makes such exemplary wax. This DEF does the wax justice. I felt this one immediate in my arms and behind my eyes. I love the Def Star wax, and I love the buds. A perfect example of OG Kush. Barack OBubba: A really gorgeous example of Bubba Kush. Dense, compact buds with a nice sticky bounce. The manicure is fantastic on this one, just really attractive to the eye. Deep dark greens mix with olive/moss green leaves with brownish/dark orange hairs intertwined throughout. A nice coat of frosty snow, when looked at under the light this baby really glistens. Smells very earthy and musty, with a hint of diesel fuel, and dark dark chocolate. Tastes very similar to its smells, very earthy. When smoked in my bubbler it was very enjoyable smooth smoke. I highly recommend for you bubba lovers. I really do love this collective. The only thing I really wish they would get on is updating their weedmaps menu. I know I’m not the first to bring this up, and I wont be the last. I personally know that I keep missing out on the Def Star OG wax restocks because the menu is never up to date. For people like me who need to budget their meds with their other bills and expenses, something like this is really helpful. I hate going in and finding out they just ran out. Or getting home only to find out that it just came back in 2 hours AFTER I was there. I always leave with great medication, but you pay for the weedmaps page, why not update it?

Wow. This place most DEF lives up to all the great things said about it. I came by in the middle of the afternoon on a saturday, and even though it was pretty busy, the FTP paperwork was quick, and I was in the back in no time. There were a couple of nice BTs working. I forget the name of the guy who did help me, I'm a little shy at first, so I might not have even gotten it. But he had light hair (red-ish) and was most welcoming. I had pretty high anxiety that day, and the second he helped me i felt right at ease. That right there is pretty freaking awesome in itself. But on to the Buds. I picked up some Captain America OG, Silver Surfer OG, DEF Star OG Wax, and for mentioning weedmaps, I got a free G of JFK OG. Silver Surfer OG- Such an amazing smell on this one. Frankly, I could sit there all day and look at all their meds, but there was a line, and I dont want to be "that girl'. This one was pretty impressive. Absolutely covered in kief-y goodness, and a wonderful pinesol/skunk smell. This was the first one I sampled, and I was over the moon. A perfect OG. Captain America OG- I seriously love this medicine!! The eighth i received was one giant ball, and sometimes there is nothing i love more than some golf ball, alien sized nugs! Another fucking excellent OG, with a that lemony-fuel goodness. Smells a little sweeter than the SS OG. But the high came on pretty fast and strong for me. Goes excellent with the DEF STAR OG Wax as a topper ;) JFK OG- After picking all my meds, I was chatting with the BT and let him know it was my first time, and he hooked me up. I asked for his recommendation, and of the two, this one really caught my eye. (the other was Da Bomb OG- also, very nice) Both had a great smell, but being that im originally from MA, i HAD to go with JFK. This was a little stemmier than the other OGs, but once you break this up, it released a wonderful sweet, lemon diesel, and a ridiculous amount of kief. Appearance wise, its nothing special, but seriously, great flavor. I would have no problem spending money on this strain, Last, and by far certainly not least- DEF STAR OG WAX- Holy fucking shit. Seriously, there are not a enough good things I can say about this wax. A beautiful bright amber/yellow color. SUPER sticky- so be careful if using your fingers. I topped both the Silver Surfer and Captain America bowls with this wax. Just the tiniest bit, and i was gone. Not too much of a couch lock either. I dont mind getting up and getting out one bit. But the stink on this wax is incredible. totally worth the 45/G i paid. Worth a lot more, but so happy they are so compassionate!! So all in all, i walked out of there with 2 eights, a free G, and a G of supurb wax for $145. And I was sure to leave a tip, which based on that jar, a lot more ppl should start doing! when you get shown love, return the favor :). I also received a voucher, but I honestly can't remember why, so I'll prob ask about that. I will for sure be back. There is also a shit ton of parking all over the place, Seriously, there is no reason not to give these guys a shot.

I recently stopped by another collective. This experience reminded me just how awesome this place truly is. Every one of the BTs is totally awesome, always helpful, always SPOT on with a recommendation. Every other collective should be taking note- these guys do it it right.

There is absolutely nothing I love more than big, fat, round, buds of marijuana. I absolutely love when i buy an 1/8 and its just one gigantic ball of danky goodness. That is exactly what I got when I went to CCA for their Banana Kush. :D God damn, this is some absolutely BEAUTIFUL weed. Delicious, frosty nugs, coated in dark orange/brown hairs. It smells real sweet, like banana kush should, kind of like the inside of a banana peel. What a great indica!!! Immediately hits you right behind the eyes. After hitting this a few times, I'm feeling fantastic! Not too lazy, but definitely feeling like chilling out. And big smiles too :D What I love most about CCA is that they always have something I just "have to get." This place is the real deal! Thanks again, and keep that banana kush coming, you guys are the best.

I went into CCA as a first timer around 4 PM 2/4. This place was located not too far from my regular dispensary, or I should say my former regular spot. So easy to find, on Sunset. They even have a tiny parking lot, which made parking super easy. I'm sure it can get a little crowded, depending on time of day. Also, I'd like to mention that they are located upstairs. You'll see what looks like a previous shop closed down on the bottom floor. Don't be alarmed, CCA is right up the stairs :). When I got there, verification was very quick. The BT who helped me out was super friendly, and really helpful. I did not catch her name, but she was really nice and I appreciated all the info she gave. The other male BT was also really nice as well, I wish I caught their names! I actually came in here with the Sunlake OG in mind, based on a recommendation from a fellow patient. All I can say is: WOW! What a smooth tasting, excellent body high! I love pretty much everything about it. The buds were a little dry, but absolutely dank and just a smooth hitter. The smell actually has gotten a little sweeter, and less OG over the last couple days. It's fantastic, check it out for yourself. Definitely took care of everything I needed it to! They also had some fantastic looking chocolate thai, that I will most DEF have to check out on my next visit. The nugs on that just looked out of this world-BOMB. As a first timer gift I got a free J. Which was pretty decent, BTW. I had previously medicated when I smoked it, but it was a great addition to my already soaring state of mind. :) They also let me spin the prize wheel for buying an eighth, and I won a free lighter. So kick ass. I love that the strains are sitting right out in front of you, where you can really check them out. Some places put them on such a high shelf, waaaay in the back that you need a telescope to even see the strains. They also had a huge selection of glass and edibles. I'm going to have to check one of those pipes out, glass is kind of my thing. To SUM UP: Check this place out. They have a beautiful mural in the waiting room, and a staff that is really down to earth. The BT told me that i would never need to go anywhere else again, and she may be right! The only thing they don't seem to carry is concentrates. But honestly, the treatment and medication you receive is TOP NOTCH. There is nothing bad I can say about this place, go see for yourself :D ****************UPDATE 2/9************ Went back to CCA to get that off the hook Choc. Thai. the other day. I almost didn't want to say how much I love it, for fear that it would be all gone! ;) Seriously though, check that sativa out. I'm in love. Nice hint of cocoa, and just such a full flavored smoke.
