What a great new experience at The Living Room! Clearly a lot of thought and effort went into the renaming and remodel. The relaxed, comfortable atmosphere makes you feel at home. The wait time is very reasonable and the waiting area is bright and open with comfortable seating. Deals and discounts are also good. The budtenders are knowledgeable and friendly, always willing to take time to answer questions and provide helpful details about the products. Received great service and advice from Phil and Blair. The vibe is really nice. If you haven’t been there since the remodel, you should definitely stop by to check it out.

A few days ago, I stopped by for my first visit at Releaf Shop. What a great friendly atmosphere! I was greeted immediately and given the new patient forms to fill out. I then spent some time talking with Nancy (who is extremely knowledgeable about Releaf’s products and about cannabis in general). It was a great interaction as we exchanged opinions and shared a few cannabis experiences – exactly how a good dispensary visit should be! The deals are great and the parking is convenient. In the end, I left with a Kaviar Indica preroll and a few other highly recommended prerolls. With my new patient discount, it was a bargain. If you are looking for some good recommendations and a great vibe – this is the place for you.

Your Farmacy, located on York Road, next to Dorman’s Lighting, was one of the first dispensaries that I went to when I received my card. Parking is plentiful, discreet and convenient. The waiting area is small, but does have a TV (so that important events aren’t missed while waiting). I’ve returned here several times and, even though I enjoy visiting a variety of places, I consider this a favorite. Every experience here has been good. The first time when I registered, I won a little prize, and received a great recommendation of Cinderella 99 flower (Sativa Hybrid) from Zach. It was such a good choice, that it has become one of my favorite strains. The weekly deals are consistently some of the best around and allow for easy planning if you are looking for something specific. Deals can also be helpful if you’re just interested in a good bargain and want to try a new strain. The budtenders are knowledgeable. Once, I left with an oil cartridge and a distillate along with a clear understanding of the difference between the two; another time, while waiting for some flower to be packaged, I received a detailed explanation of concentrates and shatter from a well-informed associate. A quick talk about mutual favorite strains always helps the staff make better suggestions. Information is given in a friendly, non-patronizing way, which is reassuring to both first-time and experienced patients. At Your Farmacy, I always receive good value in a low-key, familiar setting where the budtenders seem to make only good suggestions…

Situated in an easily accessible, stand-alone building on Reisterstown Road in Reisterstown, CuraLeaf reminds me of a local, welcoming neighborhood shop. Registration was quick and I was also given the inaugural edition of, “Cannabis Questions & Answers”, a useful and interesting magazine that all Maryland dispensaries should carry for their patients. My friend that brought me there, received some bonus loyalty points, which was a nice touch. The security guard was helpful and joked with us to pass the time as we waited our turn in the small waiting area. Once we entered the dispensary itself, Alex was very welcoming and easygoing. She listened carefully to what we were looking for. There is a somewhat limited choice, which varies according to availability, but prices are very reasonable. We also had an interesting discussion about the reason for the .3gram Golden Strawberry cartridge (lower price option?). Some of our conversation was overheard by another friendly patient waiting his turn, already sitting inside the dispensary area, who also gave his opinion. This was not a particular problem for us, but might be for a patient seeking a more private experience in the small space. CuraLeaf has a relaxed, hassle-free environment which made for a very enjoyable visit. It is a comfortable place to stop by, say “hi” and quickly get what you need.

I attended the opening of Chesacanna, on a very rainy Saturday, last weekend. A number of fun activities were presented by GreenVision Strategies, who ably handled the tough weather to organize an entertaining and enjoyable event. Security was firm but welcoming, even offering to lend umbrellas to protect patients from the torrential rains. The entrance is very low key, but the dispensary itself is modern, spacious and attractively designed. There is a separate gift shop, with interesting items that non-patients can browse while waiting. I was helped by a cheerful and friendly budtender; whose wife also works there, both of whom clearly love their jobs! After some discussion, we both agreed on a nice Sativa cartridge (with a $10 daily deal discount). I left with some additional interesting vendor information and several nice giveaways from the event. The atmosphere and physical layout of the dispensary are both pleasing and stylish. Clearly a lot of creative thought went into the planning and configuration of the patient/customer areas. This was a delightful place to stop by on a rainy afternoon, and I will be back to visit on a future sunny day!

The new dispensary, Herban Legends, is located in Towson, ironically right across from the courthouse. A perfect place for a dispensary! The interior is bright and airy with lots of windows that are tinted for privacy. The registration process was quick and friendly. I was interested in buying a cartridge or two (BOGO 50% special that day). I discussed the pros and cons of Golden Strawberry vs. Sour Diesel with Shane, the manager. The place has a very relaxed, friendly feel – almost like you’re at a friend’s house. I also had questions about the PAX 3 vaporizer, so Shane and Jake took one apart and showed me how it works. Jake even offered to lend me his to take home and try. That was both generous and helpful, even though I didn’t take him up on it! All of the staff were well informed and knew their products inside and out. They also explained that the AVB (Already Vaped Bud) can be used to make edibles. (Other ideas for AVB use can be found online). I was happy to leave with 2 cartridges and a PAX 3. The PAX 3 is great and it worked well from the beginning because I received clear, detailed instructions. My visit to Herban Legends was a really nice overall experience. Nice place, good people.
