Y’all need to do better!
I love y’all but this piece of paper in the door is outta pocket. Maps say your open so I walk a mile here and I leave empty handed cause after holiday hours? Why open at 12? Why not update maps for today? This is the second time y’all done something like this and it’s frustrating af. So please can we be more considerate to patients on foot?

Wack
The fact that y’all don’t include the tax on top of already charging hella is wack. ...when has weed ever been $49.99 + like $3+ in tax. Nevada continues to disrespect the culture with these taxes especially towards people who actually have prescriptions. Annnnnnd....don’t get me started on the cultivators. Heard about y’all out here...

Reno, NevadaWe do understand your frustrations @Reesethegemini, and completely understand. Due to the change from medical only to recreational and medical being the same facility we have changed the display of our pricing in order to avoid confusion to each of our guests. The prices can be accurately reflected by your budtender and each person should be more than accommodating in your requests and making sure that you know the correct price of each product that you are interested in. As far as the pricing luckily you do miss out on the 10% excise tax that each recreational patient will pay, but the 15% from cultivation is still apart of your purchase as a medical patient. This money is going to benefit the schools throughout Nevada with a boost in budgets. We do understand your frustrations and appreciate you voicing your concerns but hope that the information will help you see where you money is going. Thank you and we appreciate you coming in to see us, and hope that we can help you again.

No love for patients
Honestly all the clubs out here don’t financially care about the medical patients. Everything is so expensive. BLUM is the highest of em all. Your minimum 8th is like 45. I actually need weed and most smoke to turn up. It’s bad enough job hunting is hard cause medical marijuana isn’t recognized yet. So now to match these high prices I gotta do low things. I really thought Reno was a good move.

Reno, NevadaWe appreciate all feedback that helps us move forward in the industry. As marijuana went recreationally legal in the state of NV, the tax on wholesale cannabis jumped drastically, from 2% to 15%. Consumers started buying up inventory, decreasing supply and causing dispensaries to up their prices. Sales of medical marijuana are levied a 2% excise tax. The recreational industry will function on a 15% wholesale tax from the cultivator to manufacturer or retailer with an additional 10% added to all retail sales transactions. After costs of administering regulation, enforcement, and research efforts, remaining tax revenues collected on marijuana will be deposited into the State Distributive School Account in the State General Fund. We have great working relationships with our local cultivators which helps us sometimes negotiate better deals on product where price can fluctuate based on potency and who the distributor is. Another factor is if the dispensary you are shopping at has their own cultivation or not, and since we do not have our own cultivation yet, it is more difficult to find wiggle room with pricing as we are at the mercy of the cultivators we purchase product from. We sincerely do our very best to ensure our patients and customers get the best deal possible. Hopefully this response was informative and provided you with the "why" behind our pricing. We have seen similar trends in all states that have legalized. In time, pricing will eventually level out, with that said, we hope you give us another chance, and we thank you for your feedback.
