I called to ask about the FTP (first-time patient) promotion, and I was informed that staff could not disclose it over the phone. I would like to respectfully point out that communicating a discount percentage to a customer is not prohibited under California cannabis regulations, as long as no unlawful promotion or misleading pricing is involved. California regulations restrict certain cannabis giveaways and deceptive promotions, but simply informing a customer of a percentage discount is not prohibited.  In addition, under California Consumer Legal Remedies Act, businesses are expected to communicate with Clear communication helps build trust and improves customer service.  I kindly suggest retraining staff on how to professionally assist customers with basic promotional questions, so misunderstandings like this do not lead to losing customers.
