The gas smell was lurking, but barely noticeable. The dominant smell on the nose was grass. After a couple bong loads though, with friends, we were all laughing hysterically, so that was cool. Effects were nice and strong...the smell and taste, not so much.

I don't normally post bad reviews, but this batch of KM was fresh and had no excuse to be so awful. First off, there's not a whiff of Kush Mints aroma to be found anywhere--just a very airy, almost fish food smell. Taste is more of the same... cardboard, air, and fish flakes. Only pleasant effect was that it was kind on the lungs. At just under 60 an 8th, it feels like robbery. As a connoisseur, I don't mind paying for quality, but this Kush Mints from CAM is a straight scam. Hard pass, not recommended.

I stumbled upon Cannabal City after watching Between Two Strains featuring Josh D. After learning the "OG Kush Story," I hurried to 3C's Art District DTLA hub, and grabbed a direct cut of the original Club 33 OG--I also checked out the Illuminati OG and the Kushushima--both of which also share their lineage with the underground 90's Pheno that changed the world. While the OG's were truly reminiscent of that first OG experience, the Kushushima was the standout in my mind. What this strain lacks in pungent smell, it more than makes up for it in potency and medicinal properties. The head high was immediately noticeable, and left me feeling highly creative--while completely obliterating my chronic back pain. This strain also acts as a bronchodilator, and is actually more effective than my albuterol inhaler for treating my acute asthma. The smoke is earthy, piney, and true to the classic old-school Kush phenotype. I'll definitely be returning.
