I had about a year long journey with the Semaj staff, specifically with Dr. Tasia Henderson treating me through Telehealth appointments. Trying to schedule anything with the administrative team was a persistent nightmare, as I was rarely seen on time, appointments were frequently rescheduled because they were overbooked (I saw my "weekly therapist" twice in the span of two months), and sometimes appointments just weren't confirmed altogether. I understand that, due to COVID, they're as busy as ever and apparently understaffed, but my issue lies mainly with the fact that I was treated like a time slot and not like a human. I really had issues with the way they handled scheduling to see my doctor after a suicide attempt. Bottom line, if you want to get your medical card, they'll give it to you no problem. But if you try to kill yourself, they couldn't care less.
