Good weed always smells good and often looks good. Bad looking and smelling weed is more than half the time not the best. Best looking has big dense nugs with trichomes you can see (however some outdoor strains will not look like this and still can be great) I have tried 15 different strains for the last 3 months from this place and I sniff the jars, pick up a nug with the tongs and look close, smell it. if it smells brown, then don't buy it. This works for me 13/15 times. Don't blast out your nasal sensitivity with smoking some crappy joint on the way there so you can't smell. Also don't ask budtenders at ANY store what you should buy (these budtenders are great but still--they are salespeople told by management to push the worst products at EVERY collective)

I tried 5 different buds, 3 vips and 2 non-vip. Vips were amazing. Non vips were also really good. 2 different $20 hashes were good too.
