Went to Essence today and was so disappointed by the way they were set up. First off they had it set up for Recreational users to see the glass case and displays but medical users are made to wait in line to go to the old area that used to be where you pay. So because I get a tax break I cant see everything nice and laid out? I have to ask to see a little box the guy has in a stack behind him. No way to see which ones I want to ask more about. I need to know what I want to look at first. To make matters worse, The recreational line was moving faster than the medical line. 5 cashiers for recreational and only one for medical who thought it was a social hour rather than taking care of the 4 people waiting in medical line. Then I couldnt see the guys name because he made sure his badge was turned around, but talk abput an inconsiderate jerk! Well since they no longer have Caviar Gold, I can stop going there. Get nicer bud tenders because the jerk I delt with needs to go!

Im going in later today but I just wanted to say KUDOS to Essence for not becoming money hungry greedy buttheads like so many other places in Vegas! Check the reviews people! Since Thursday, the reviews here have stayed at 5 stars! Im even giving them a 5 star review before I go in because their menu doesnt show a HUGE increase in pricing now that we have recreational sales in NV. I even noticed a few things were LESS EXPENSIVE that before! I have always liked the staff and the products coming frim this place but now I am even more convinced THIS IS THE BEST IN TOWN! Forget that big place behind the mall! Those guys tried to DOUBLE the price on a few candy bars the other day because of the "recreational" pricing. If that were truly the case, then everybody would be chaging twice as much! But not here at Essence! You guys are THE BOMB and those other guys can shove their HIGHER PRICES where the sun doesn't shine! I am strictly an Essence girl from now on! Thanks again!

I posted a review about how the prices wete increasing but today when I went to check out the prices on their edibles to see the $50 price tag the guy tried to sell me a candy bar for a few nights ago and what do you know? they actually only went up by $5.00, NOT $27! So Im curious why I got told $50 a few nights ago?!? Why would you risk loosing a GREAT CUSTOMER by trying to double the price then put it on your menu for the real price? All I know is your budtender was very ignorant or he was tryimg to pocket some extra cash for himself and using the new taxes to his advantage! Make sure to check your receipt before you go. If they tried to charge more than what they should, I would report them. That kind of unprofessionalism is not cool. There are a lot of other places that dont do their best to rip people off. REEF needs better management all around!

i went to Reef a few days ago and for the first time I saw the negative impact this was have on the prices starting in less than 2 days. i went in to purchase a few edible items only to find out they were out of almost everything except a few chocolate bars. OK, I really wanted Gummies, but A candy bar or two would have bern fine. Only when the JERK who was packaging up my order came at me with a total of over $160 for 4 prerolls and two chocolate bars, I was pissed. i figured he had charged me for somethong extra. REALITY- THE $23 Candy bars I was going to purchase JUMPED IN PRICE from $23 tp $50 each! WTF!? I cancelled the candy bars, purchased 4 prerolls ( those went from $10 to $15 ) and left extreamly angry and dissatisfied. They were ALWAYS the least expensive place to go to for wax and other quality products at a much more reasonable price than most of the other shops, but I refuse to give my business to a place that will EXPLOIT Medical Users and DOUBLES THEIR PRICES.

i finally made it over to REEF about a month ago and wish I had gone sooner. The prices were the BEST I had ever come across and their selection was extensive. They had the Delta 9 cartridges for only $40 (Essence charges $60) and where most places charge $25 for a 1/2 gr of wax, Reef has full grams for $25! Bud tenders were friendly and informed on which strains worked best. Will return often!

I have been to Essence twice now and I am happy all the way around with this shop. Not only do they have a great selection, but the Delta 9 cartridges in different flavorsis my FAVORITE! The banana has got to be the best one Ive tried. All their bud is great quality and I will continue to use them for as long as they are around. Great Shop and Great Selection! Keep up the great work!

I lived right next to this shop for a short time, so it was easy to get to. I went in with my service dog, who is still in training. Unknown to me, while we were in the bud room, he had an accident. I was UNAWARE of this and had I known, I would have been more than willing to clean up after him. About a week later, I went back. Immediatly, the front desk staff was acting "shifty". Another person was allowed back before me and I didnt understand why, until a manager came out to inform me that the last time we were there, my service dog had an accident so he wss no longer allowed to go in. I would have been OK with that, but when I tried to apologize and tell her I was unaware of him doing so, she acted like I intentionally allowed him to have an accident. Because I suffer from seizures, it is imparative to keep my service animal with me. I was insulted by the management and wont return to a very rude staff when there are more than enough places willing to comply with FEDRAL ADA laws.
