When I moved back to CA, one of the best changes I noticed were the medical cannabis dispensary storefronts. I educated myself on whole plant medicine, and learned more from helpful local folks called budtenders. I have visited many dispensaries now, in Santa Cruz, Mendocino, Humboldt, Marin, Sonoma, and yes, even San Francisco County. The Green Cross in the Outer Mission is my favorite dispensary in San Francisco. They are similar to Harborside in Oakland in their depth of knowledge and attention to atmosphere and detail. The lobby is welcoming, with a well-dressed security doorman and a check-in clerk greeting you as you arrive. They offer fresh-brewed coffee to anyone who needs a breather. You are given a number and asked to wait inside. The dispensary counter space is well organized with respectful, laid back budtenders sharing their product knowledge with you. They carry all the major CA cannabis brands. A relaxing, people's place for cannabis consultations. Highly recommended!
