I came into CCC with all of my confidential psychiatric paperwork. I was apprehensive about the whole situation already because I don't like my mental health to be discussed with people who are not in the realm of psychiatry. When I got to the front desk the woman (name I do not know, not a nurse nor a doctor, just a receptionist) asked for my medical info. She then loudly exclaims after looking at my information "Oh you suffer from Depression you don't qualify for anxiety, I'll text some people to see if that is covered under anxiety" at this point I'm mortified. The entire waiting room can hear everything and she continues to flip through all of my medical records and asking me questions loudly. I am very uncomfortable and I tell her that I'm uncomfortable, she says "oh yeah you're right". She then takes me into a back room and just flips through all of my counseling information, medical history, etc. it wasn't a nurse just a receptionist. CCC executives called me to apologize.
