I recently moved to Seattle from Michigan, where I had my medical marijuana card. I was unimpressed with the dispensaries I went to downtown, especially when it came to price. Thankfully, I found Green Fire! The store itself is laid out beautifully, with lots of variety of products. The budtenders are super helpful, offering a written list of all of their strains, along with their corresponding THC/CBD percentages. Their deal where you can mix and match a bunch of eighths and get 20% off on a half ounce or ounce is the bomb, seriously. And...it’s right across the street from Macrina. Yay! Do yourself a favor and head down to SODO and check this place out.

I drive by The Jazz Club almost every day on my way to work. Having finally gotten my card, I decided to stop in and check it out. I entered the building and showed my card and ID to the man at the door. He welcomed me and directed me towards the two-page form that new patients must fill out. I turned that in with my card and was instructed to wait in the lobby. They have free bottled water, popcorn, and donuts in the waiting area, and Timbits! How awesome is that?! I was led in to the back and introduced to my budtender, Vivian. She gave me a tour of the various products available, and was very friendly and helpful. The dispensary itself is bright and cheerful, and incredibly well-stocked; there are tons of edibles to choose from. They have a good stock of flower, with some really nice strains — I am a big fan of The White — and daily specials. They give new patients a pretty sweet welcome gift, too! I highly (pun intended) recommend The Jazz Club!
