William's Wonder is an old-school indica that traces back to the Super Sativa Seed Club, which offered the strain in the 1980s as its M31 William's Wonder. Its genetics were never documented cleanly, though longstanding accounts connect the strain to Afghani stock. SickMeds Seeds came much later, resurrecting William's Wonder from original SSSC seeds rather than creating the cultivar itself.

Sweet citrus hits first, followed by candy, earth, herbs, spice, and a deeper hashy funk. Crack apart the dense, resin-heavy buds and the sweeter side gets louder, giving William's Wonder a surprisingly bright aromatic profile for an old-school indica.

Those in the know describe an equally unusual ride. William's Wonder can come on euphoric and cerebral, with an upbeat head change that punches above what its squat indica build suggests. As the session rolls along, that early spark gives way to a slower, heavier body calm without losing the strain's distinctive heady character.

William's Wonder became breeding stock in its own right, turning up in the family trees of numerous later cultivars and hybrids. Decades after its SSSC debut, the combination of citrus-candy funk, compact growth, heavy resin, and an unexpectedly lively head high still makes this old genetic worth remembering.

SickMeds Seeds says Willy’s Wonder is a 100% indica plant that grows short and wide. It can only be grown indoors and takes eight to nine weeks to fully flower. Willy’s Wonder is known as a heavy producer at harvest time. The strain delivers an uplifting sensation along with deep physical relaxation that’s likely not the best choice for beginners.
