Some listings claim a cross of Watermelon Kush and Zkittlez, but that pairing is not breeder-confirmed and may reflect confusion with the closely related Watermelon Zkittlez name. For now, treat that lineage as speculation, not settled genetics.
The flower earns the Watermelon name without much help from the imagination. Sweet melon, tropical fruit, mango, and sour citrus dominate, with some batches pushing a sugary watermelon-candy note and others tasting closer to ripe fruit and rind. Resin production is another consistent trait, with documented plants producing medium-sized flowers coated heavily enough in trichomes to look dusted.
