Tropical Tart

Tropical Tart comes from a reported cross of Sweet Tart x Tropical Tang, though breeder attribution gets murky. Some users link seeds to Wolf Genetics, while others point to a Green Wolf Genetics operation in Michigan. Either way, the name fits: it’s a citrus-heavy sativa hybrid with a sweet-sour kick.

The Sweet Tart side (Purple Thai x Afghani x ATF, from Twisty Seeds) layers in berry, spice, and earthy sweetness. Tropical Tang, meanwhile, leans sativa and brings a sharp citrus punch with mystery genetics that vary by source. Put them together, and you get buds with bright green hues and sticky resin, carrying aromas of lemon, tropical fruit, and woody spice. Limonene leads the terpene charge, supported by myrcene and caryophyllene for balance.

Sessions with Tropical Tart are often described as lively and energizing, sparking movement and lifting mood while quieting intrusive thoughts. As the head high runs bright, a creeping body high slides in — relaxed but not day-ending — and plenty of smokers mention the munchies kicking in hard.

Tropical Tart: sweet, sour, and citrus-soaked — a strain that lives up to its name, even if its family tree doesn’t stay consistent.
