Tangerine Sunrise was first cultivated by the breeders at Colorado Seeds. The hybrid combines Hawaiian Sunrise, a Hawaiian sativa, with Tangenesia, a combination of Tangerine Haze and a hybrid descended from Amnesia Haze. The cultivar has been described as smelling of fresh-squeezed orange juice laced with a spicy, earthy musk. Its flavors match its aromas with a blend of vanilla, citrus, and herbs. Tangerine Sunrise was listed as one of Westword's Ten Best Marijuana Strains of 2014.
