Often mistaken for an alias of the popular Ice Cream Cake strain from Seed Junky Genetics, Sundae Cake is actually a cross of Wedding Cake and Sundae Driver — though an original breeder is hard to trace for this particular strain. Despite that and its relative rarity, Sundae Cake has built a strong reputation for potency and relaxed highs. Markedly indica-dominant, Sundae Cake is known as a great evening strain for winding the day down into a deep, restful sleep, or just for a thorough relaxation session after work. Most reviews suggest an extremely potent strain with a creeping high that dispels negative thoughts and likely ends up locking you firmly to the couch. Foliage tends to be dominated by purple and dark green, though a strong coating of pistils and trichomes lightens its appearance into an aura of dank stickiness.
